Back from the Track

I'm kind of disapointed in my car, but i guess i shoulded be, i only have two mods, flowmasters and ram air w/ K&N filter, heres how my ET's and stuff stand. i ran three times, and here they are in order.......60 FT-2.5323----1/4 ET-17.8869 @74.11.......60 FT-2.524----1/4 ET-17.7852 @74.58......60 FT-2.473----1/4 ET-17.7110 @76.01...thats not that bad concidering there is something wrong with my car, as i was sitting waiting to run, as my car idols the temp goes up to about 220, and i run at about 220 off the line, i don't think my fan is coming on, whats up with that, can anyone help me.

Mine does it too, it happens while sitting in line waiting to get to the front.

EDIT: W/ a properly warmed up engine today I GTeched both a 16.40/88.2 and a 17.16/80.4, but I guess somethin happened on that 16.40.

If you're talkin about me, the GTECH measures from when you start, not from a "green light" so there really isn't a reaction time.

What RPM did u launch at? Manual shifting? What rpm did u shift at?

reaction time has NOTHING to do with the E.T. ........the clock at the track start once you cross the starting line.

About the heat problem, you wouldn't believe how much difference a radiator flush makes in running temps. Try a lower temp thermo, too.

Oh and by the way, the computer makes the fan come on at 230 degrees.
