you should have the TV cable which is the one on top, a cable connected to the gas pedal(can't remember the name) this one is on the lower part, and a third cable for cruise, also at the bottom. if you think about it, the throttle plate MUST be open for the engine to run/accelerate. so if you hit cruise, your foot is not on the pedal....but something HAS to open the throttle, right?? it won't open magically. that's what the cable is doing. it's basically holding the throttle open for you.

EDIT: crap, i just realized you have a 5-speed. you don't have a TV cable then. i honestly don't think cruise is available with a manual trans.

My turn signal lever has the cruise control options on it, but it has never worked. I think the tb has two cables on it, I'll check tommorow.

You might also check the modual its self. I found out last night that some one gutted the brass spring pice that actually runs the cruise on mine.

Here's something that might've happened, too! The guy I just did the 2.8/2.8 swap with; his column has no cruise control lever on it. However, he has all the cruise control pieces under the hood! Someone switched his steering column and didn't bother to get one with cruise.
