Where does your car die?

Well, My car seems to die right around 60-65. I raced a 4.3L S-10 tonight and had him till 80, after that he took me. Any helpful hints for this bottleneck of speed would be appreciated.

PS...had to break into my car tonight...am I the only one who thought that it was WAAAAAYYYYY to easy? Just pull the window back and have someone unlock it. Maybe I won't disconnect my Vats.....

Yeah, considering the fact that my windows don't line up properly anymore and the fact that you can activate the power unlock button by practically just breathing on it, yeah, i'd say it's pretty easy to break into. But, if their gonna break in, they can always use a brick. Just hope that VATS saves you.

When does my car die? hell if i know.....

What year is that S-10 and what mods does it have? I know a guy that has a 99 S10 4.3 5speed and the comp clunks it out a 85, so the one you raced migh have had some work done to it. My 3.4 in my blazer seems to die at 80 also, so im thinking its the end of the power band for most 2.8, 3.1 and 3.4. If I can get a hold of my friend ive been trying for a month now i'll ask him what he had the shop does to his 2.8 camaro "the one with fake crossfire tags on it and a 145 speedo" It pulls very well to 115 which totaly amazes me. I'll keep trying and i'll post his mods or have him post them on this board.

Both my cars just keep going too, the roads are too crappy to take them over 90-100mph though. Maybe you are talking about go power heh go power what the hell, i mean like when you step on the gas and it will pull a little, in my car around like 60-65 it has no more go power just steady kinda slow acceleration.

Hmm, to date about 10 mph. Dude its ok, thats just driving it up and down my drive way. I've just started to fix up the car after it has sat for FIVE years. I think that my parents had it up to a blistering 70 mph though. :0

Mine dies at about the point where I go to unlock the door and get in... It goes, it's just slow, and I have mono, so I can't get out and fix it any time soon.
