, what type of air filters did you use? were they the cones, or flat fiters? just curiouse as I am hoping to do that sometime soon, I take it they run much much smoother
let me know atleast, as that sounds like one of the coolest mods to me right now. Long Live the F-body

i used the flat K&N's
i cleaned them out yesterday afternoon and took it for a "ride" (more of a drag race really) last nite.....If had to recommend a first power mod to anybody for a v-6 this would be it
it felt so much faster...I actually got kinda scared while driving it.........
thanx once again FAST RS
it really sucks that this cant be done to firebirds, though, damn hood clearance
i'll try to get some pics of it up soon
i should have pics up of my car very soon

well i hacked off the bottoms of my air filter boxes a few days ago and i am wondering, i am doing a Ram Air intake for my Camaro, and i am going by this diagram here,
https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/tech/ramair.shtml
is this what you did to your car? if not what did ya do exactly to make it a CAI???? i heard ya feel more with the CAI than Ram Air and if i can do it then so be it. but if i already messed up by hacking off the bottoms and i can't do CAI then ill just continure with the Ram Air and ill post my review on it

Well, if done right, a ram air is simply a CAI with the filters pointing forward.
Congrats on the mod, RSt-topGuy!
