This topic was meant as no flame. I see it's obvious some of you guys suffer from having a small ***** or something

My topic was intended purely so I could get an idea of what some of you guys are running. Not what your friends run...not what guys on the street run, what thirdgen.org members with V6's run.

As far as why I ask...its because in another topic on another board, someone said that their V6 would easily beat any V8 car.
So I post here, and all of the sudden FLAME. All started by one insecure person and followed by all the other insecure V6 owners out here.

Then the topic gets closed without one straight answer pertaining to the topic.

I was right....you V6 owners are pathetic.

Hey bud, thanks for the personal email sent... i responded... We went off on you as for the title - "fast of the slow". Your a troll and you know you flamed, you know you got called on it and you know it bothered you so much you just had to email me and tell me just how small my V6 and ***** really is... Try asking questions - not asking them in insultive ways, you will go far in life if you learn it... I am done posting on this section... if anyone wants to see his email and my response - email me oh btw, you must be on crack, "not one answer pertaining to your question"? i answered you in my post the way you wanted me too. As far as insecure - go back and read troll, you got called on you post topic title. You have a difficultly in making friends don't you? try super glue, the foot won't come out of the mouth so easy next time. (psssttt) hey heres a clue.... change title from the "fastest of the slow" to, "hey what do all your V6's run" and ya might get a better following. But again i have a small ***** and am insecure about a car i no longer own with a inferior engine, so i am prolly wrong....

None of us are insecure .We're all proud of our cars .Thats why we replied the way we did .I had the chance to get an IROC when I got my V6 but it was ragged out ,motor ran good but car looked like crap.We just dont like people raggin on our cars . Iroc how would you feel it a new SS came up to you and said hey whats the "fastest of the slowest of the 3rd gen Irocs ? Wouldn't yuou feel pretty embarrased if I pulled up on the side of you at the track with my heads polished , ported , a cam , headers , roller rockers , etc and ran in the high 13s and beat you and everyone knew I had a V6 .We don't mind you asking us questions about our cars , it was just the way you asked "the fastest of the slowest" but maybe one day some guy in a beefed up SS well come to the V8 guys and say whats the fastest of the slowest Z28/IROCS they ever made and you will know how it is . People just dont like it when you put down on there car ,no matter what they drive .

 

Hey now, not all mustang owners are snots lol.... Actually i am on a board now that mustang owners and GM owners actually get along. Theres only afew GM owners tho as its a mustang/ford board here locally. We all goto the Ennis strip and race together too... Amazing huh? hhehehe ok i am not responding again - he will not learn, i think he is 2 frys short of a happy meal.... but thats my personal opinion... remember trolls like this theres a golden rule... Its not there fualt, its just the way they were raised... bah, i will stop, i respect the board enough not to turn it into a very amusing flame fest.

You say all the V-8 guys ever do is bag on your 6's. How many times have I ever bagged on your cars? Not once. How many times have I contributed solid technical information to your topics? I'm not only a V-8 guy I have a BBC. Not all of us are jerks.

Fastest of the SLOW huh? Didn't mean it as a flame? So why did you bold the SLOW part of it? What an a$$. You know, I believe they made this whole V6 forum for us because a lot of the V8 guys don't respect our cars. People always say "What you got in there?", "A 6", I say. So they try ragging on me because of it. Even though their car is a piece of crap and mine looks really good. Who cares if you got an 8. Some of us are college students here and need to save as much money as possible. Like the Red91bird said, if you meant not to flame, you could have phrased the question A LOT differently. And we probably could have helped you. And what's this I hear about you emailing people? What, you can't take a hit and walk away like a man? No wait, I forgot, you're only a teenager. If you're not, you sure as hell act like one. OH BUT, NO FLAME INTENDED!

IM ready to bust anyone direspecting the V6. Hey modding a V6 can be fun. Sure the 2.8/3.1 or 3.4s for that matter will never be as fast as a V8 with similar work, hell neither will a 3.8, but remember its all in where you start and what you can do with it that should be the question. I mean is it all that great that I can run a 13.5 in my TTA. No, anyone could by one and do that, but its faster than you. I guess I should start roaming around looking at V8 owners and asking why thier engine is so big, yet they go so slow. NO I wont do that because I am not an *** like that. IF I saw a Camaro or Firebird, or even a Mustang that someone had done a lot of work to and it looked really nice I would give them respect for it, but if they pop the hood and I see something small Im not going to laugh at them. I might say hey, why didn't you start with something faster. Then if they say something like INsurace, or I didnt have the money at the time, or I got this thing for a deal I couldn't refuse, you have to understand and respect the decision. Just because you have a 350 doesn't mean that you have a nicer car, maybe just faster. I got a friend that has a 5.0 4BBL 87 Camaro that will kick your 5.7 *** because you aren't even worth my gas.

With that I am out. One day our V6's will get respect, well I mean the other V6's will get repect, mine has already got it, but nobody knows what the car is.

86 Trans Am w/ built 355TPI with SLP goodies and too much other stuff to List. One sweet *** car, wish I would have had a good enough Job to pay insurance on three cars so I could keep it, but for a 89 Turbo Trans Am w/ Low miles, I think I made the right choice!

Anyways Iroc guy....you would have received a nice decent answer if you would have titled the post differently. But usually posts by v8 guys in here have been VERY ugly...although some are fine as long as they don't try to come rag on us for owning a v6.

And if you're referring to what I think you're referring to as being small, I guess we can assume that you're making up your lack of cubic inches somewhere else by having a higher cubic inch engine.

87RS, I'm sure that they didn't mean to imply that ALL v8 guys are bad. I have respect for a lot of the v8 guys on thirdgen. I see you reply to a lot of posts in here with very helpful information, and you've replied to one of mine in another section with usefull stuff. Vader, Ede, and MANY MANY v8 owners don't rag on us. Although I believe Dirk saw that there would be a problem with some and hence that's why he put the v6 forum here. Ede's building up a 4.3 if I'm not mistaken. I think it'd be interesting to see what it's going to run. Anyways, sorry if you were offended by what they said, I'm sure it was unintentional.
