I have a messed up Rod on my Camaro and has bent the crank. It needs to be replaced NOW!!!!! It has a 2.8L and a 700R4 so I need the same engine or something that will bolt right in and it needs to be cheap. Plus to make things worse I'm in Laramie Wyoming I'll pay for shiping as soon as I can afford to if some one has one laying around. So I need some advice do I replace the engine right away or do I get another car.

 

well the best thing I can say is go to this addy and look around. www.car-parts.com You can narrow your search to wyoming and see whats there. I would say expect upwards of 5-600 bucks easy. Or you can email Grame or KED(I forget which) and swap in a 3.4. It'll bolt up and everything.

I BLEW A SILVER DOLLAR HOLE IN MY #1 PISTON! I threw in the 3.4 as it was MUCH CHEAPER THAN ANYTHING ELSE!!
