Could someone answer this right quick?

In a 90-92 Camaro what is that round canister that sits next to the air filter housing? And can it be moved so you could put a intake in the fender?

If it's anything like an 86 firebird, I think it's called a charcoal canister. Something to do with the fuel. Haven't figured out why we have it though....

It's to fiter/store fuel vapors, instead of having them vent to the outside air. there should also ba a black cotton like filter unneath it. change it.

i think i have heard of people moving it before. its is right in the way. as long as you leave it connected there shouldn't be a problem, i just can't figure out where to move it to

It is a fuel evaporation canister. It collects fuel vapor and injects it into the engine. It can be moved but the hoses and wires have to follow. It can also be removed but that will probably do more harm than good.

you should be able to remove it without a prblem. I have had mine off since i bought the car 2 years ago and no problems yet. That is if you wanna just get rid of it.

that canister is what traps all fuel vapors. if you remove it, you wont pass emissions. thats part of equipment check. also, there is no reason to remove it. just relocate it.
