I used too. Now I have a grant GT. Looks better and quicker steering response thanks to the smaller diameter.

i got it at an autozone for $10 its an aluminum ball. well the shifter has 2 parts... the ball and the sleeve, the sleeve wont fit on the rod but you would have to sand the inside of the sleeve thing so that it fits onto the rod... i put the sleeve upsidedown and the ball ontop of it.

O -----ball
^ -----sleeve
| -----rod

I have the wheel in my '92. It has the air bag in it. I was thinking about swaping it out, but I'm not sure if I want to lose the air bag. All though I'm told with me in the car there all ready is an air bag.

Cool shifter ****! Are those holes in your pedles or are those little grip pads? I hav ebeen wanting to replace pedels for some time now, but can only find ones with holes in them. The rubber pads on mine are worn out and it's kind slick.

You can buy a replacement brake pad from the dealer; mine cost $5 or so... I changed mine when I put in new carpet. But GM doesn't carry the gas pedals anymore- go figure!

They carry the gas pedel. Now that's typical GM!

I was looking for ones to spruce up the inside a little.

Does any one have the over head console? All the pictures I have seen of them are small and I can't make them out to well. Doing a long drive every day you need extra room to put stuff. A few extra ligths are nice to. Allthough I am kinda tall and head room is an isue to.

I have an overhead console. I got it from the yards on a Camaro. Fits right in the middle, no problem. It "Visually" tricks ya thinking about a lower roof, tho.
Mine holds sunglasses (have to re-sew the stretch stuff), a flashlight and the lights. Also the manual tripodometer stuff (and what day an anniversary/birthday is, no less!).
I paid I think $10?
Yet to install it, I need a new cardboard headliner, too. I injured mine. A project that I have collected within past 12 years.

I saw a few of them on E-bay once. they wern't to expensive. They even came with the instructions and cut out diagram. i think I'll pick one up.

I did notice that they even have their own flash light, but seem to be missing.

It'll be soft once it's deployed. Of course I hope that never happens to you. In a different car it happened to me. Not only did I have to have the front end fixed, but had to have the inside detailed. The smell from the stuff they use stinks to high heven!!
