hELP! o2 Location on 2.8

I have a 2.8 1988 RS, and I was replacing the o2 sensor. I disconnected what i thought was the connection, but it was dark. I removed the old 02 and screwed in the new one. Now I can't find the location/wire to reconnect, and I'm wondering if the o2 was just taped up in the harness. My check engine lige has been on and the old o2 look all carboned up. I need to know how where to connect the o2 on the 2.8

Help

The connection is beween the starter and the firewall, just look in that area for the clip connection.

Have to made sure it was the o2 sensor causeing the check engine light?? Have you did the paperclip trick to see what code is poping up?

HI Eddi, thank you so much for replying. I watched your youtube and I'm super impressed.
My 88rs has just under 70k, and you could say I'm a newbe, but technically competent. So far I do all my own work on my 4.7 dodge, and the RS is just new to me. Pardon my ignorance: " Paper clip" ? I'll do a forum search....or you could just post it back for me

Three short falshes.....is that 21?
TPS voltage was above 2.5 volts for 2 seconds when the MAP sensor signal showed manifold vacuum to be 15 pounds or more under 1800 RPM.,

And ifsi what shall do? Replace the TPS?

Re: hELP! o2 Location on 2.8 AND MORE

So I replaced the TPS, no change and still ran rough checked paperclip code and it was a 2 quick flashes, Hmm, and when I do get it running using throttle it ran rough. So I removed the spark plug wires suspect that I missed [laced on when replacing plugs and wires. I removed all of them. So is it correct that I need to remove the plug for cyl#1 find TDC, remove dizzy cover, reference rotor( should I replace it too) set wire 1 and cyl1......does this sound "right"?
