distributor replacment?
hey everyone got a question
got my car running pretty good still a small miss at idle and have to set tps proper (volt meter wont go that low). but im assuming the miss prob is related to my distributor problem.
now my question is, when the rpms drop from a shot of gas i can hear and feel a vibration/grinding noise form my distributor. im assuming it on its way out, has some side to side play and the pickup coil can move around on the shaft. i assume the noise and vibration is a mix from the side to side play and pick up coil moving around on the shaft.
im looking at buying another from rockauto. there is 2 im looking at need some opinions
- WORLD POWER SYSTEMS Part # DST1633 ... comes with everything not sure on quality.
- CARDONE SELECT Part # 841633 ... this also comes with evrything not sure about this either.
im assuming the cardone part is better but could use some help here.
thanks everyone

Re: distributor replacment?
Get the AC Delco Distributor for $120.
ACDELCO Part # 88864747
If there is anything to remember when dealing with sensors, relays, ignition components, try to use GM parts where you can. You'll pay a little more, but worth it in the long run.
