where does this go lol

so i've finally got around to working back on my 89 trans am, but its been quite some time since i ripped apart the dash wiring and headlight harness.

before i go any further i should mention that I'm using an 86 firebird 2.8 harness which including chassis, body, and eng harness. EVERYTHING from the 86 was transferred over to this 89 trans am shell.

i have all the wires connected under the dash except this one with a purple and pink with black tracer on it. its closer to the steering coloum side of the dash near the drivers foot panel area...
can someone help me out here

also i need to know how the headlight harness is routed. if someone can take some pics or give me a brief explanation that will be great!

in 2 ways your lucky, #1 I know that connector and its doing what it does in my car, hang lose.

Cause #2 my feet are to big and I can't run the under dash plastic pieces so like every few months that dumb thing drops down and I have to tuck it back away.

TCC lockup power, goes on the brake pedal switch. Since you have a stick trans, it's as Gumby says, it hangs loose.

Note that the PNK/BLK wire is hot during key-on. So don't let it short against anything.

Is it fused?

Can it be used for say a stereo, or fog lights or?

On an '87 it is fused via the gauges fuse. I don't know the fuse size, so can't say whether it can be used for other items unless the power draw is within the range of the fuse and wire AWG.

it will run the fuel pump, ign modual died on way home but thought it was fuel pump, as that the onlything that has ever stopped the car from running, so I hot wired the fuel pump with it. [ ill undo it tomorrow ] alredy past bed time.
