My speedo stop working and so did my upshift light. I know that the cable is attached to the guage. Could it be the sending unit or the cable? I raely need to fix this.

 

here's the way I found out on the festiva that had this prob: disconect speedo cable either @ tranny or dash.
pull on small cable inside that turns.
if it comes out, replace cable.
if it doesn't come out, you might need to have to look @ the gears.

Maybe the people in the tranny section coiuld help more, do a search, & don't let them know you have a 6
