Engine Power's 3.4L Build Idea
So, Engine Power just built a 4.3 V6. As usual, they stuck a carb on it. Made a little over 260 hp and 295 torques.
Hearing that V6 on the dyno reminded me of how much I loved the sound of my old V6 Firebird.
Later that day I ran into a guy driving a Trans Am pace car. That got me thinkin'
What if you made a Camaro version of the Turbo T/A using a turbocharged 4.3? Use the Engine Power 4.3 as a blueprint, go with better heads (what are the best heads for the 4.3?), a bigger cam that the really mild one they went with and aftermarket EFI and a turbo.
Keeping the boost moderate for reliability so the car can be used as a cruiser or even a daily driver, what kind of power could you get out of something like that?
