1989 Firebird 2.8l Fuel Injected cranks but won't start

Figured I'd try the V6 board to see if I can get better insights here. So I have a 1989 Pontiac Firebird 2.8l fuel injected. I try to start the car, it cranks, but will not start. Doesn't even sound like it's struggling to turn over. Just cranks. I checked fuses and they seemed fine. Battery is fully charged. Distributor wires all connected. Tried spark test on a few and observed white spark from a know good spark plug. Air cleaner isn't clogged. Fuel pump whines when turning the key to ign. Initially tried cranking for a bit but nothing happened. Tried pressing the gas peddle a bit, which I know is a bad idea, but nothing changed. After cranking for a bit, I noticed a fuel smell from the engine bay. Seems like a bit of fuel was dripping from air cleaner tubing. Disconnected the tubing from cleaner and throttle body to let the gas air out. Today, tried to start the car again. Same issue. And almost immediately it started smelling like gas and we noticed gas dripping from the throttle body by the Idle Position sensor. Also noticed it's a little wet from gas by the EGR valve. Is all that fuel from prior cranking unable to dissipate? Seems like after sitting for a few days it should have been fine? Or is this a running too rich issue perhaps? I've seen my friend cranking on his car for a while but we never saw gas dripping all over the place like that. I appreciate any help in trying to figure out what to check next. Thanks.

Doing a test on a vacuum hose from the FPR to the back of the throttle body, I unplugged that line then primed the fuel pump. Fuel shot 10 feet in front of the car from the line.

If you have gas dripping out of the throttle body, souncds like yo have a ruptured FPR diaphragm. Id looks into replacing that. Prolly shooting too much fuel into the engine causing it to not start

That's what somebody in a different forum said. I ordered the diaphragm and some plenum gaskets from Rock Auto. Is removing the intake plenum and the throttle body as one piece pretty straightforward? And then the diaphragm is under this circular part on the fuel rail with security torx screws going around it.
