3.4 Motor

I know this should probably be in the classifieds, but you guys are the ones that would be interested in it. I'm picking up a 87 formula and letting my V6 project die, so I've got a 94 3.4 out of a Camaro. 40,000 miles, 220psi in all six cylinders. Hoping to get $600 for it. Also have an auto tranny out of a 91 Firebird. I honestly don't know the condition of this tranny. It came out of a junkyard bird, but the car was being driven untill the motor locked up. I'd like to get $125 for it. Thanks.

Put it on ebay
FIGURE OUT SHIPPING FIRST!!
I am getting a tranny from there.
Just sent the case for it.
Cost me $55 for empty case shipment
IF ya was closer, I'd buy the engine from ya, right now.
I am getting a 3.4 delivered to my doorstep for my 1985 S-10 Blazer. Same price $600.
You wanna ship for free?

I may be interested, do you have any documentation of the miles. Is the engine clean, or is there oil anywhere. Do you have any pics of it. I would be willing to drive form chicago if it was in good shape.

Aw c'mon Karl, if I can do the 12 hr road trip there & back.....

Chicago, I got my 3.4 from Elburn, beat ya to it

What comes w/the engine? accessories, exhaust pipe, ......
$550-600 is the going price around here for low milage engines, high milagae( 70k miles) are about $100 less

I'd have to look on the receipt to see if it says the miles, other than that, no, I do not have any documentation. The engine is clean, no oil dripping off of it or anything. Maybe a little grime on it, but nothing that would indicate a problem. No accessories other than the water pump. It does have most of the brackets I believe, and it has all the intake stuff, fuel stuff, exhaust manifolds. Without it sitting next to a complete motor, I really can't tell exactly what isn't there. I don't have any pics, but I will try to take a couple and post them, but honestly, the internet and pictures don't mix well for me. As far as shipping , I wouldn't even have the slightest clue how to go about shipping it. Although, I am planning on going to Alabama next weekend to pick up the new car, I haven't planned my route yet, but depending on where you are, I could possibly drop it off. Thanks.

Take ride to LA, I'll be having a choice of many!
How long to drive to LA on the 5?
Maybe can get "delivered" for fair price?
Want a phone number for an option?

Well, Cali would be a bit out of the way, plus, the state might fall into the ocean while I'm out there. I've got a few pics, I'll work on posting them.

FOR ANYONE!

MARTY!
Southern California Auto Wrecking
323-587-3144
Take 5 South, to 110 south to 10 for Alameda Exit, to 8229 S. Alameda St.
You can get any price range ya wanna spend. With a 30 day warranty (you will not need it if YOU do the 2.8->3.4 long block swap boogie correct!).

ONLY ONLY ONLY CALL WHEN YA GOT THE MONEY TO SPEND. HE is a NO NO BS guy.
Meaning, I PROMISE HE CAN GET YOU A 3.4 MOTOR.
I am buying my second 3.4 motor from him.

I am dealing with Marty this week or next. Let me know your price range and if you want to pick up locally or come down here. I will ask & give me a shout for details.

This time, I'm gonna spend $600 for a 3.4 for my 1985 S-10 Blazer. Last time was $800 for a 44K motor (& worth it!)
I figure by the time this Blazer swapped 3.4 dies, I'll be CA smog law free & can slip in the V-8 cheaper then. I have all the V-8 stuff, now, minus a tranny & long block.

I can slip in this 3.4 w/tranny, for cheaper then a V-8 swap. I only do a smog legal swap, always always easier in the long run. And in this right now instance, with my on hand stuff, a 3.4 swap & tranny is way cheaper then the later on V-8.
