Re: BEST looking 3rd gen firebird & camaro rims
what he said!! when ever i DO see any irocs in person or on craigslist, the ones with the factory wheel stand out to me with great appeal like it must have 25 years ago. now all i shop around for or pay any attention to are the factory cars. the custom ones seem to fade away in the back ground more to me now lol

Re: BEST looking 3rd gen firebird & camaro rims
I already have a bone stock low mile original 88 iroc-z so I have that covered. Then again the 87 and earlier wheels look better imo and I have a set of those too. Only prolem is, brakes won't fit with those

Re: BEST looking 3rd gen firebird & camaro rims
I Personally like the PW7s for our cars (firebirds in this case), however I had a dream of having C4 vette wheels with the center caps replaced with something simalier to the ones on the Pw7s, but they apparently won't fit

I might be buying some of these concave Rowhe wheels

Lol someone seriously needs to chill. Like a previous poster in this thread said someone who is on BMW forums as well would know about these.
The world is not gonna end if someone on the other side of the world has the same rims. No one cares. As long as they're not your neighbor who gives a sh*t!
ps: there is also Google Image Search you know

Probably some 19x10s maybe some 19x8.. what do you think?
Also there's some other smaller details I want to add/fix before I buy some new wheels... that's kind of the last thing for me.. not too in a hurry
Dude its called a joke. Stop taking it up the a.ss so hard. You're just making yourself look even more stupid. Fine Ok you can keep you're "special" rims that no one in the world except you has.. no one is going to take them lol. Happy??? I think that's what you wanted to hear lol. Also who cares about how many posts someone has? Is it supposed to make you better than everyone else?? If it did then you have been on this since 2000 and you're acting like a little girl. We've moved on from that conversation.. if it continues then you're just looking for attention.. smh.

Re: BEST looking 3rd gen firebird & camaro rims
1st 19in tires are expensive and everybody up charges them
2nd if your thinking going 19 ...19x8 is a waste go wider your spending a lot on tires already mightiest well get the most grip I say 9 to 10in wide
I would go 18s IMO I like to have more tire and 19s tires are just too expensive long term but I drive mines everyday so if you don't and it's just a weekend car then it's ok also 19s would be max rim size you can pull off 20s if you can get the right tire and stance it would have to be lowered IMO 18s are perfect everyday size and 17s are good also vast tire selection but not all big brake kits fit in 17 which ctw motorsports makes a pretty cool wheel setup if you want 17 and fit big brake setups
Those wheels have the same retro type feel/vibe like the year one snowflake wheels which a member has on his firebird NYC sum thing is his name
Post pics of your car maybe some one can photoshop

I googled those snowflake rims and I personally don't like "mesh" type of wheels on this car.. I prefer 5 spoke rims.. I'm trying to keep the 5 spoke thing like my original 17" IROC-Zs but different style of 5 spoke.. definitely some with some lip
My camaro is in the shop right now but it's a blue 87 IROCZ 5.7L T-top all stock.. if someone can just get a similar one to that because I'm not that good in photoshop lol.. I'll take some pics as soon as I pick it up

Re: BEST looking 3rd gen firebird & camaro rims
I am dead serious! If it was so easy to find them, why did about 10 people PM me wanting to know what wheels they are from when I 1st showed a pic of them? And then there were some in threads. No..it's this new twerp who came in here just to ruin my day.. obviously no purpose at all.
Remember the M6 wheels? I had those and boom, at least 3!!! other guys I know of had them, even some douche in my home town. Now this again

Why do we allow children on this site?
Annnnyways....Best looking stockers are the 1985-87s.

My favorite aftermarkets would have to be CCW SP18s F: 18x11, R:18x13

Guys, no offense intended but are you all REALLY fighting like children over an argument that stemmed on the last page over a member who got upset because someone pointed out what wheels he has?
I just want to make sure I have that straight and didn't miss anything.

No need to speak in general, yes it is because I got pissed off because of that. I specifically said I wanted to keep the brand to myself and some clown joins up and post the brand, he has what.. 2 posts? What was his purpose here other than revealing what wheels I have... wheels that by my knowledge are not available in the US anywhere?

Here are my wheels. They are American Racing AR-23 with a little custom touch from some black wheelpaint and some black lugnuts. I plan on getting black centercaps for them also. I went with these wheels because I really like the style and you don't see hardly any thirdgens running them. Only one other member on this forum has them to my knowledge.

You should not have posted it on the internet if you wanted to keep it a secret. I think you miss the idea of this thread. Its to give other people ideas of what wheels work and what are available for third gens since most guys are use to seeing/using 4th gen or vette wheels as a upgrade. I come to this post all the time for new wheel ideas, since I'm considering a wheel change this summer.
Because someone posted a the brand of wheel you have, you are taking it personally, when its not an attack on you but curiosity about the wheels.
Number of posts has nothing to do with anything. Most guys here with 1000s of post generally add "nice car or nice Wheels" comments with nothing of substance.

Number of posts has nothing to do with anything. Most guys here with 1000s of post generally add "nice car or nice Wheels" comments with nothing of substance.
Because someone posted a the brand of wheel you have, you are taking it personally, when its not an attack on you but curiosity about the wheels.

So if you do not want people to copy your stuff you can not show it? That's BS! In this and other threads I said I didn't want to tell... people should respect that and certainly not some trolling noob should come in just to spoil someone elses day. That's what it is about.

I was going to add my 2 cents but just nevermind. I can understand your frustration but I would have expected a more controlled response from a senior member. And yes there was a need to speak in general because we went from people sharing their wheels to two people fighting about their wheels to a bunch of people fighting about superior post counts.

How is it? if you show a picture of something you immediately have to fess up to all the details and what's what so people can copy it?
