I think these are best! CCW Classics. I have been trying to find a used set for months with no luck, probably never will and with a new price of $2,400

 

those will look horrible on a 3rd gen.

 

I ordered a set about a month ago . Mine look slightly different than the ones pictured above. I will post pics when they arrive.

 

If set up right they actually look really good. Was my first wheel choice but dont want to spend 2400 for them when i could get Fikse FM5 for a little more which is my dream wheel. Oh well one day.

I don't think there is a vehicle on this planet that wouldn't looked better with CCW classics. There could be better wheel choices I'm sure but the classics are amazing.

I just got the tracking info for my Classics and they are expected to arrive next Friday!!

 

I figured to myself, it will look good in some applications but I am not a fan of them, I have seen them on 4th gens and also not a fan of them.

As you all probably know, when you are talking muscle car, Cragar 8/61 mags are and always have been the de facto wheels to go with along with white letter tires, and 7-8 years ago they came out with the above wheel, changed a bit to go with the look/sizes of late model cars, several years before AR put out their TTIIs. Still though, I haven't seen a single car with these new style Cragars ever. Would love to see a third gen with them. Affordable too.

I just bought a set of refinished 85-87 Iroc rims from mike's montes...(This is a newly refinished set of 4 Iroc wheels with new center caps.They look awesome!!!!!!!!!! There are 2 front and 2 rear wheels included. These wheels are 16x8 .You will not find closer to new anywhere .Call 937-526-5089 for more information) He can get more.

I am very satisfied with the rims and I just ordered Firestone wide ovals for them. I hope to have them on soon. Right now I have 15X8" polished aluminum Ultra Tri-Fan's on my car. I know the Tri-fans were a mid 90's wheel, but I still like the way they look.

Here's a few more pics. It's a 1986 Camaro Contempo Cantara GT. Pretty rare. Some people love it (like me) and some hate it. I took the front spoiler off, it was trashed. I'll replace it with something soon. And it only has 35,000 miles. I actually bought one new in 1987. I wish I'd never sold that car and I swore if I ever found one I'd buy it. And the new wheels really set it off.

I was wondering if you could tell me what rims are on the car in the picture. I have a 1992 Camaro RS I would like to put some spokes on. Can you tell me what size those are they look a little bigger than 15's. Do they also have them in non polished finish.

20" Centerlines with black dust shields, installed new rear springs and the 275/40/20's in the rear fit with no rubbing.

I finally snapped a picture of my car with the new wheels. My camera is horrible, the wheels looke ALOT better in person. They have a polished lip and a brushed bare aluminum center.



Better pictures and scenery to come once I get an alignment.

 

I really like the American Nitro Chromes I have on mine.. but it's a personal taste thing. I _never_ liked the stock Honeycombs. I think the nicest stock ones were the five way three-slots. (had them on my old car). But they were heavy as all get out.

 

Dude I would LOVE to score a set of those but they are just way too damn expensive. Very nice!!!

 

Nice set of wheels, like the shark color of the car. Hate to see door ding...someone did the same to mine too.

Those look awesome. They go amazingly well with the color. What is it? Not a fan of the spoiler but those wheels can mask almost anything.

 

Thanks! I will be changing the spoiler when I get it repainted (probably the beginning of next year) I am glad I chose the brushed center over the polished, black, and titanium. I didn't want the polished centers because of the maintenance, the titanium really doesn't fit my future paint color too well. I was set on the black centers for as long as I've known these wheels existed until about 2 days before I ordered these.

Yea...that ding happened 5 years ago in my high school parking lot. The strange thing is my buddy was parked next to me and he never opened the passenger side door that day. I was also parked at the back of the lot facing a chain link fence so there was no reason for anybody to be anywhere near my door.

 

Something wierd about that door ding...What setup did you go with to lower your ride? Do the tires clear ok?

 

Those same wheels were on the base Firebird in '86. My sister had one just like the one below.

 

pwdbychevy (and) dust3r...I have been looking for some wheels that are the same style as the ones you have on your cars, So I have to ask; What brand / size(s) are your wheels? I have always liked that style of wheels and I am looking for some for my 88 T/A, but not having much luck finding them.

Mine are made by CCW (Complete Custom Wheel), and the style is Classic (Street version). The fronts are only 18x8 and the rears are 18x10. I chose to only go with an 8" wide front wheel because I didn't want to deal with rubbing like my last set of wheels which were 9.5" wide. I can turn the wheels from all the way to the left and right and I don't have any rubbing. They are custom made to your specs, so you can get them wider if you want. I believe the only place you can get these wheels is through CCW, and they run $2200 for the "Race" version, or $2400 for the "Street" version. Ive only driven my car twice with them on so far because I finally found somebody yesterday that would/could perform an alignment on my lowered car, but I have gotten compliments and stares on both outings.

I bought these from my brother for $300 . He had them on his BMW 325i. I am using 1.5" billet adapters front and rear since the offset was different.

 

I'll Give You $350 for 'em right now! I'll even drive up and pick them up! J/K!
