I have 4th Gen SS wheels that are 17x9, note sure if that is what you are looking for but I can get pics if you want.

AC -
What brand/model wheels are you running? They are just what I am looking for!

Re: rear and side shots of 17x9.5

no, I've heard of others running that size up front with no issues. I would personally recommend 8's up front though. It looks bad *** like that. That's my thoughts. What kind of rims are you looking at??

i'd like to get 8's up front, but they only make them in 9.5...

I am getting Black Z06's put on here soon.. les schwab claims that they'll fit my car with no spacers or anything.. so we'll see soon

Re: rear and side shots of 17x9.5

The wheels I have are ROH RT's with a black ice finish. 17x9.5 rears, 17x8 fronts. Nitto rubber all around. My ROH's might be up for sale soon with the tires (only 1000 miles on them) because I want to go 19" rear and 18" fronts. I'll be taking a rear picture this weekend and post it up.

i have 17x8 at all four corners with nitto rubber. that extra inch and a half on the rear makes a HUGE difference. wish mine sat like that!

Re: rear and side shots of 17x9.5

Tobias- You can get a wide tire on a 8 inch wheel as well. You wont be getting a 295 tire but you can go pretty wide without buying new wheels.

I've got 10 out back and 4 up front and IMO a 315 tire out back looks the best on these cars.

Also one more thing to remember is that the wider of a tire you go in the front the higher the chance of the car drifting around and pulling hard when you hit a line in the road or something. Just to keep in mind.

Had to ditch the mudflaps because it looked like I was trying to stop a waterfall with a 2X4.

Re: rear and side shots of 17x9.5

They rub the slightest bit at full lock but its not a problem at all. My cars stock height but i think they would be fine with a one inch drop.

those vette wheels will rub i have 18x10.5 in the rear and 17x9.5 in the front and all four rub i cant lower the car because the rears wont tuck in the wheel well and it wont turn very well..... nothing a little fabrication wont fix though

Re: rear and side shots of 17x9.5

either those stick out, or you've seriously bashed your fender wells, and you have to have cut off the bump stops too. As a matter of fact, you have to be really close to rubbing on your lower control arms. any more details?

yeah, its a lot more work than its worth but its cool. the car is minitubbed, coil-overs, custom offset control arms, ect.
I can fit 345/30/18 drag radials and still have room.
The wheels are tucked nicely, about 5/8" in from being flush with the fender
