which rims fit which camaro
which rims fit which camaro
talkin stock rims
will 16" Z28 rims replace
the RS 15" rims?
i have a 91 Z28
will they fit my
91 RS?
and what about the IROC rims
how do they fit?
the reason i am posting this thread is because i heard
that if i want to do this someone said that i need two sets
of front Z28 rims to fit the RS going from 15" to 16"
maybe this has something to do with the IROC having
rear disc brakes-i am certain someone out there
knows everything about this

If you don't count the 1LE brakes, everything from the steel 14's to the Firehawk 17's will interchange. They're all 5x4.75" spacing, with the correct offsets.
Re: which rims fit which camaro
thanks
so the rumour isn't true
i pick up the last available
brand new in box set of
ronal firehawks in two weeks!
one thing is i figure you need the spacers for
the ronal firehawks for the proper installation

Re: which rims fit which camaro
To the best of my knowledge, the 91-92 Firehawk wheels are made in a thirdgen compatible offset.
Technically, if you put factory 16's on a thirdgen with cast iron drums you should use the factory spacer, but they're only about 1/8" thick, and you can bolt the wheels up without them just fine.
All the stock wheels except factory 16's have the same offset front and rear.
As long as you keep the 16" front wheels on the front and the 16" rear wheels on the rear you'll be fine. The fronts will even fit the rear, but the rears will rub the tie rod ends if you put them on the front (Thank you Sam's Club!).
4th gen and Y-body wheels have different offsets and backspacing and require much thicker spacers or parts changes.

The 16" Iroc wheels have a stamp on the front of the rim thats says "Front" or "Rear" to help you. If you buy a set make sure you are getting 2 front and 2 rear
