Re: cleaning burnout rubber

WD-40 and it won't hurt the paint.

soak it down, wait, then come at it with some on a rag.

Hose the area with WD-40 before your next outting, it will last for weeks, it don't dry, only rain or washing it will take it off.

Ive wiped down my whole car before and it looked nice, and kept the cats off it like rumored. Hate muddy cat foot prints on my car.

You could always tape up that rear quarter panel section BEFORE you go out. I mean if you are just gonna hit the back roads for a quick spin. But as for after, some good car washing soap and elbow grease. Just remember to clean the rag often to minimize any scratching from dirt or debris.

Goo-gone. let it soak for a minute or two, and it'll rub right off.

works awesome, wipe a coating on the rear 1/4s before you go to the track, and it'll come right off with a cloth easily.

Its 100% car safe inside and out, it doesn't strip wax.
Makes plastic n rubber parts look nice.
will make a notchback painted in primer, have a rich shine to blend in with the cars paint nice, tee hee hee

only problem is if it rains for more then an hr.
WD-40 ain't cheap anymore with that new straw on nozzle can.

But don't try some cheap knock off brand.
