Max wheel size on a stock wheel well
I am looking to purchase a set of Weld RT-S wheels for my 3rd gen. I want to go with the 15x9.25 sized wheel, but which offset?
Weld offers that size in a 5.5 BS and 6.5 BS.
I DO NOT want the wheel/tire to stick out at all. I would like for it to tuck under as much as possible.

of the two sizes, 6.5 would be best, but will require modification to the inner wheel well to fit. depends a lot on what tire you are using too. 6" of BS should work too, but i dont think its an available sepc on those wheels
5.5 may just work if the wheel is only 9" wide, but the tire bulge may still be out a bit further than you would seem to like.

Anyone out there happen to have either of these wheels on their car? Even if it's not an RT-S, just to see what I prefer

My 9" wide, 5"bs Snypers with 275s tucked very well. Too well for my tastes. The 5.5" bs would be your best choice & yeah....6.25 would require some BFH mods at minimum, but most likely cutting to clear the tire sidewall at least.

Keep this in mind - if you want to run the 9.25" wide 15" wheel in front, you can't run more than 5.1" BS and not hit the tie rod end without a spacer. Rea is a different story, but no one has mentioned the fronts so far in this thread...
