Re: different lugnuts?

I got my chrome lugs at Pep Boys years ago. They never did rust, and still look great.

Your title, though, brought back an old memory. My kid brother had an Escort EXP about 20 years ago. He was in college, and parts kept "disappearing". One day, the antenna was gone. Another day an emblem had vanished. Finally one morning, three of the four wheels were gone. Car was sitting on its rotors. Puzzled, he was wondering why they only took three, and not all four. When he got new wheels (4), he figured out why. There was a single lugnut that was a different size on the one remaining wheel. Apparently they only had one size lug wrench. When he told me the story, I RAN out and bought a set of lockers.

Re: different lugnuts?

they have to be a conical seat type nut, and 12mm x 1.5 pitch. after that, you can get whatever color or style you want.

Re: different lugnuts?

depends on the length of the threads on the spacer, but the thread is right.

Re: different lugnuts?

with aftermarket chrome lugnuts its a good idea to chase the threads on them before use . chrome can get in the threads and mess up your studs . i know from past use . good luck .
