Would 14" winter tires on my IROC be a problem?

Hello guys,

I found a set of 14" winter tires for my IROC off craigslist...They come with the rims already. I know they fit, because they came off the sellers berlinetta. However, with my IROC already being pretty low (lowered on Eibach Sportline rims), would there be a problem with getting 14" rims? (it's got stock 16" rims right now). I guess what I mean is....will it be THAT much lower??

Thank you!

Compare the overall tire of the tires. That will tell you if they'll fit & how low/high (tall tires?) will be sitting after the swap.

If that's true then I'll be ok thank you !!

edit: the size of the tire is 195/75/R14, but it's not that far off

But you have 16" tires, so 58marks "help" is of no use to you.

if he has the CORRECT 16" tires, then the diameter of the tires+ wheels doesn't change

I was showing him that the size of the wheel doesn't have that much to do with the full diameter of the setup

Your first comparison of 14" tires to 15" tires didn't apply to him with the 16" tire size, so how could it have been of any help? You posted a link to compare tire sizes AFTER I said something. You shoulda posted that link in the first place. So no...Your first post was of no help to him.

Wheel diameter means squat in this case. Only the tire size does. When you need to know about brake rotor sizes that fit? Then the wheel size matters.
