Honeycomb Wheels on a Third Gen?

I would love a set of these on my 90 T/A but I'm not sure what would make them fit right...
Any ideas would be awesome.

Re: Honeycomb Wheels on a Third Gen?
They sure will - even though the ad says they won't on a 3rd gen (correct about the 4th gen)...
Problem could be brake caliper clearance with those wheels - if you have larger than stock calipers (a 4 piston kit for example), you might have contact with the rear of the wheel spokes and the front of the caliper face.
I'll bet they weigh a lot from the design and manufacture.

Sweet, Yeah I wanna put them on, the wheels I have are on now are the Corvette C5 5 spoke wheels that are made for a F-body, a fourth gen one, so I have rubbing issues on the front.
But these wheels should fit no prob without spacers? if so then tax return is spent. lol

Re: Honeycomb Wheels on a Third Gen?
Hate to bring up a kinda dead topic, I'm definitely getting Honeycomb wheels, my next question is:
What size tires would look good on them, I read that 255/40R17 is the max on stock ride, I'm gonna lower it by a inch (maybe) so I was wondering what would be a good size to run?
245/40R17? or maybe 235/45R17?

I ran 225/40/17 on the front of mine for awhile, its lowred. No issues.
If you want the same size tire all around, I'd suggest 245/45/17

Re: Honeycomb Wheels on a Third Gen?
Thoes wheels are sweet! My fav retro wheel is still the Year One Snowflakes in 17"
Re: Honeycomb Wheels on a Third Gen?
RestoreAMuscleCar's eBay store drop ships those from Year One so check Year One direct pricing first. Shipping charges could determine which is cheaper.
I just installed the Year One Snowflake's on our GTA in 17x9 and am running a 275/40/17 on all 4 corners with no rubbing or issues. And that is with Eb Miller's Wilwood GTA 4 piston kit on the front.
Assuming the Honeycomb wheels are as thick in the center as the Snowflakes are, you might have to replace the wheel studs with extended length ones to get enough engagement with the lug nut.

Silver Powder Coated Centers w/ Clear Coated Machine Edges
Just soap and water used on them. No wheel polish or buffing should be done.
Side note = 79tagio,
Nice car but do you have to stretch the page with that "HUGE" photo" ?

Hi Bro! Send me a pic of your Trans Am side view and I can Photo Shop the rims on> That will give you a idea what they will look like. Going to try it on my Trans Am. Cheers...
