XXR 18x10.5 all around - who’s had luck fitting them?
I know there’s a few out there running the XXR wheels in 18x10.5 +20 offset front and back. I bought these wheels a couple years ago and they’ve been sitting in my garage since. I have the 1.25” wheel adapters to clear the front hub (the rears fit nicely)
I’m looking at getting the camber plates from Founders to adjust the front as this is definitely an aggressive fitment. I’d like to get some tires on and get these wheels on in time for some upcoming car shows
i guess my question is, who’s had success fitting these? I know there’s at least one guy on here with a YouTube vid of his black ‘91 that looks sick! And I believe there’s been some other posts where people said they purchased this same setup... but I haven’t seen anyone post up pics. Curious how it went, what tire sizes were used front and back and any issues?

Really was looking to see more pics of 3rd gens with the XXR 526 in 18x10.5 +20 offset particularly on the fronts
I believe I’ve only seen Dbltke (black ‘91) with them all around. Like myself, I read others bought the same setup...but I’ve not seen anyone post pics. Here are some more pics from when I did a test fit on the front. These will need some massaging to work, particularly a camber adjustment.

no it wont actually need camber adjustment, your suspension isn't under weight when you left car with wide wheels as such they extend outward as suspension extends
if you look at the pics you can see the the positive camber due to full weight not being loaded on suspension once you mount tires and put weight on suspension wheels
will tuck in
it will work and don't need massaging unless your super low

You make a good point! When I did the “test fit”, I lowered her down on some lumber. I thought that would represent full load on the suspension, but clearly from the pics, there’s still more suspension travel to be had. I have a local expert who can figure out best tire specs and get the ride height dialed in...so hopefully in the next month or so I’ll have a good update to share!

What size tire did you end up running front and rear; i’m trying to figure out if a 275/35r18 will fit up front on the 18x10.5 +20
Re: XXR 18x10.5 all around - who’s had luck fitting them?
So...I had the best of intentions to get this project out of the way last year...but a new job and other obligations took up my time & money for getting this done. Next month is looking to be the opportunity for me to get my ‘92 ready for Springtime/ Summer car shows.
For the rears, I’m planning to go 275/35R18. I’m thinking a mild stretch up front with a 255/35R18 to hopefully avoid any rubbing or clearance issues. My car is lower than stock height, but not slammed either. As for lug nut type, I honestly have no idea and I’m going to leave that to my local guy to determine best options. As long as they keep the wheel from flying off....those will be the lug nuts I go with! 😄. To be continued........

it’s a nice day here today with the promise of Spring not too far away, so I spent a little time in the garage and took a couple pics of the adapters. Got them from Summit Racing Converts 5x4.75 to 5x4.5 bolt pattern. 1.25” thick to help getting over the wheel hub. So to answer the question in a way, yes..wheel studs will be extended vs stock.
