I would try the usual places; Summit and Jegs.

EAR-28A180 for front disks or EAR-28A190 for 4 wheel disks. I've heard stories on here about the russells and personally I bought the earls because of it and had no trouble with them so far. The install was a breeze for a beginner and they inproved the pedal feel greatly. From someone with them on his car, I'd say get them. They'll probably last longer then your car and the pedals will always feel better.

No, no, no and a THOUSAND times NO. I have corrected people a thousand times now. Earl's offers 4 kits for our cars. You need to buy the right one. There are THREE different kits for 4 wheel disc applications.

PN28A300 is for 4-wheel discs where you have Iron front calipers and aluminum PBR rear calipers. This is most often for cars 1989 and after.

PN28A520 is for 4-wheel discs where you have Iron front calipers and iron rear calipers. This is most often for cars pre-1989.

PN28A190 is for 4-wheel discs where you have aluminum PBR front calipers and aluminum PBR rear calipers. This is for 1LEs.

PN28A180 is for front Iron calipers and rear drums.

The 28A190 kit can work on the Iron front calipers also if you follow the modification that I did here ...

do they have a set that will work with a 4th gen disk rear with the 'old' caliper style (LT1).

I got mine from Spohn. I trust Steve a lot more with his descriptions than the ones from Summit. They're kind of lacking on descriptions on the hoses IMHO.

'joshwilson3', the hard line on the drums is actualy better then steel hose. However if you can replace that little section of rubber hose the connects the hard line from the body to the hardline on the axle - that would help.
So you'll probably be looking for a (3) hose kit for front disk/rear drums cars.

Ummmm .... no. That link only provides a place to order. Steve's page has no REAL Earl's part numbers and the pictures are incorrect. The same picture is used for every part. The only thing that link provides is an advertisement to order the correct part through spohn ... when, in fact, if you know the correct part number (as I posted above) you can order from anywhere. That link is further cornfusing because of using the same picture for every part.

I guess my point was that it made ordering easier, at least in my opinion, because you can order a specific application without knowing a part #--and it is from a board sponsor. That said, any and all info is beneficial.

So does anyone know what the physical differences are? Between the part numbers?
