TDS wonderbar Vs. Spohn wonderbar?
I was wondering, which wonderbar do you guys think is better? The spohn adjustable, or the TDS with it's 3 bolts for mounting? I think it'd be badazz to have one with a combination of both, 3 bolts for the mounts AND adjustable... but I don't have the equipment or know how to make my own... do you think spohn or TDS would get together and make this?
The TDS one has a smaller tube I think(still bigger then the GM version though), but it's got the 3 bolts for mounting. The spohn version has a bigger tube and is adjustable, but it doesn't have the 3 bolts to mount it...
Anyway, if you guys had to pick one, which do you think is best/better?

tds wonderbar, nothing wrong with Steve's but the tds was in the price range for me. i didnt feel like i needed an adjustable one or a really heavy duty one because my car is being setup up more for drag racing.

I've had both versions.
I disliked the Spohn non-adjustable because it required modification to install. I needed to either move the dual fans up or cut/grind the concave plastic fan support pieces. Since I did not want to do that, I sold the Spohn wonderbar.
I now have a TDS 3-bolt per side version. It installed like a factory piece and has a durable powdercoat finish. Plus Lon has priced his version competitively.

The Spohn bar requires you to cut some parts on the front end to make it fit. Not a bit deal but you're not supposed to have to cut your car to install bolt on parts.
The TDS bar fits perfectly, no cutting required. I've seen factory GM wonderbars go for over $100 on Ebay, and Lon's bar is around $40-45 and is a better design.

Does anyone know a website where I could buy a TDS wonderbar? $40-$45 sounds good to me. I didn't see any on Ebay under wonder bar.
I run the spohn wonderbar, and it fits fine, I have a carb and clutch fan which is probably the difference, but only had to elongate the bolt holes, other then that good price and big. My setup is more to AutoX.

Thanks. The poll seems to be unanimous. $50.00 isn't bad for powdercoating and a new wonderbar. Do you guys know which thirdgens come with these and which didn't? Thread
