Probably already has for some of you.
At Bandimere, the first season race is April 23rd. Test & Tune starts the 17th.
I'm itchin', but still have a couple of winter project items to finish up. Hope to make some progress this weekend.

They'll plow the snow off it around the end of April, and be open for racing the first weekend in May.
Still two months away

Same here. I think only the northern tracks actually have a "season" all the southern tracks just have some holiday downtime.

they just take a break for christmas holidays. its already been back and running for several weeks now... matter of fact, last weekend, my local car club all went to the track.
i got some nice baselines for the auto-> manual conversion.. i plan to go this weekend if the car is together, and see how much faster the manual is.

Does anybody run in a season points series? Even if the track is running year-round, I'd think they'd have a "season", especially if they participate in the Summit ET series.

No racing on holdays and colder than 55 degrees. Basically, there was no racing in December IIRC, and January starts up test & tune. No T&Ts were closed due to weather. Season opener March 6. Points begin March 27.

I think the best thing about us having a short season is that we have a lot of down time to do repairs or changes. I started my winter projects last October and have until the end of April to get everything finished.
I am ready to go now with about 8 weeks left. The track will open a few weeks before the first points race for Friday night street legal races. I may go just to try out the delay box so I can work out how much delay I need before the race season starts. I don't expect good track conditions. The track is usually still too cold to get any kind of traction although they've said that they will do track prep on Friday nights this year.

I think my track starts the latest out of all of us...
The first points meet is on May 30
, with the first street legal event on May 7.
Our season goes from the end of May to the end of September.
