Double check with Mr. Fred Gerle but I certainly believe they will fit a five speed vehicle.
The buzz word is STREET LEGAL HEADERS! FINALLY!

As i recall they were originally going to be made for the 3.4. I'm assuming these new ones will fit a 3.4 in a 3rd gen right?

I still have the 2.8 with leaking exhaust manifold gasket, but i'm also still planning on getting a 3.4 once i have a job.

karl, good job w/ pushing everyone to e-mail...i'm very glad to see that it finally paid off, and hopefully there's still going to be enough interest for people to invest in getting a pair, making all of pacesetters work worthwhile. .... good job ace

Sweet! 'bout time we got something going to replace the manifolds (again)

These headers will fit any 2.8/3.1/3.4 in a thirdgen. The only difference will be their optimal scavenge RPM, and it really won't make too horrible a difference. They'll just be torquier headers on a 3.4, and better than the stock manifolds in almost any situation.

IF YOU NOTICE ANY DIFFERENCE IN WHAT IS SHOWN FROM PACE SETTER EXHAUST AND WHAT IS UNDER YOUR SPECIFIC HOOD, CONTACT MR. FRED GERLE AND PLEASE INFORM HIM WITH ANY FITMENT COMMENTS!
IMMEDIALTY!
BACK UP YOUR SUGGESTIONS WITH PICTURES!

I, only having a 1985 model year V6/automatic & not seeing many, if any other V6s, often, gave the BEST fitment comments I could.
The "Y" pipe is gonna be "right", that's a given.
If there is a smog pump attachment that needs fitting to the exhaust pipes due to a stick shifted car, TELL MR. FRED GERLE.
Pipe Fitment for the stick cars was questioned due to clutch slave cylinder location. I knew of no other details.
YES these Pipes will fit ANY 60*V6 under our 3rd Gen F Body hoods!
2.8
3.1
3.4
powered ride.

If I can imput and say- Its not Pacesteeters first time around the block. They have whatever info they need from CARB as for requirements and will do whatever they can to broaden the market sales to fit legally as many variances of 3rdgen f-body possible.

Ked just contact myself, Billy or TechSmurf and we would be glad to unlock it and update it with any information you get.
