First Photoshoot with the Firebird (56k beware!)
I was out cruising for a little bit today and decided to snap a few pictures. After looking at these I've decided I need some new wheels. Let me know what you think.

I wanna see a better picture of the design on the hood. It looks really well done and I like the way it goes off onto the doors.

Sweeeeeeet looking ride. I really like the flames.
I think the Ronal R-15 would really make a huge difference on your car. They are 17 x 9.5. They are kinda wide which would really stand on especially on your car since you do not have ground effects.
When you have some time maybe you could put those flames on my car

Needs dark black tint, lowering job, wheels like you said, needs the y-pipe painted black and you should look into wiring your tailights to all come on at the same time for running lights.
Sweet colors man.

IMO you need to lower that bird. Maybe add some sail panel birds.
I agree, the wheels could use some work.
BUT...it still looks great. I love the interior.

not bad, like previous stated, get some dark tint , lower it with sportlines and some different rims. Its ok right now but with the previous stuff mentioned it will be awesome . Just gotta pick the right set of rims for it .

Looks great!
Congrats...I agree on you needing new wheels...not a big fan of Ronals though but to each his own.
You do seem to have some issues with the lights you may want to look at.

I could be wrong but I thought that even with the parking lights on, you'd have 3 bulbs per side lit in the back and not just on the ends as in the pic.
This is how it was on several 3rd gens my frinds and I have owned.
Maybe 82 was different as none of us had one from 82-84.

Something is not right with the two outer taillights... They look brighter than they are supposed to be.
This is how they are supposed to light up.

Wow that turned out nice. I agree with you (and everyone else) about the wheels. Did you build those kick panels too?

I'll have to check out the light issue. I didn't even notice it until you guys pointed it out.
Yes I did. I built the kick's out of some MDF and Fiberglass. Not too hard of a project at all- just very time consuming.

The interior is awesome, the paint is good though I'm not a fan of the hood bird. Excellent work though.
Yeah, the rims are a downer. With all that work in the car, those rims dont' really bring it to life much. Maybe if they were polished.

you know that I love your bird! In my opinion, it would be absolutely perfect with new rims, ground effects and painting the gas cap body color. I'm very impressed by the condition of your interior too!

Very nice indeed. You should probably try polishing your Pontiac wheels before you blow a lot of money on new wheels. And I think the sail panel birds may be a bit overkill. Love that screamin chicken.
