This is what i got, its been painted black and has 2 coats of clear on it. It is functional with cutouts in the nostrils as well as K&N filters stuffed into the nostrils for a clean look. The scoop is a 2.5" scoop, and the underside of the hood is painted black as well. Hood comes with BRAND NEW hood struts (american made) hood opens very fast. Hood also has working and in good condition hood hindges with the new hood struts. Also comes with hood spring and latching harwdare at the front of the hood.

This is the best brand of this hood by the original company who made them. this hood cost 969$ unpainted without shipping. I would take 550$ and i really dont want to ship it so pickup only. This is a great deal for a painted hood thats ready to bolt on!!! pic is attached

I am looking to replace the hood due to increased engine height (Big block fords are talllll!) and im currently looking for a 4" cowl pin on hood, i like the glasstek one.

augh! thats too bad... u should take a trip up here, ill meet u like an hour away or so from my residence to help with the drive lol. I really would exchange it for a glasstek 4" cowl pin on hood straight out. I would have kept the ram air hood but my Big block sticks above firewall too much. i think ill need a 4" cowl but i need to measure to be sure.

BUMP! this hood is ready to bolt on and is painted! was on my car for 2 years and got taken care of religiously. Waxed every 2-3 weeks by hand by me.

true. weathers really bad in jersey this year. got 3 snow storms , 2ft snow first storm, 8" second storm, and 14" this last storm. Suppose to get more tmrw and wed

i made them, they were my first design but got stolen, now i came up with a cleaner more stock looking setup. THe old setup was the beginning of the thread and the newer design is the last half of the thread.

the newest design are. the are real bixenon HID projectors, 55w HID kit, and have highbeam function. The older design was pretty good and i wouldnt have had any issues but it was a halogen projector and not a real HID projector. the cutoff is really good tho so i wouldnt have had an issue. Legal components however a car originally equipped without HIDs can not have HIDs no matter what you do or say, if its not original equipment but its illegal... so there ya go.

I need to get rid of this bc the cars basically done and i need a cowl hood to get this car on the road! THis hood is in great condition and has a 2 coat clear coat! car was waxed every 2-3 weeks!

Guys the hood will no longer be offered with the hood hindges, I will have to remove them since I will end up needing them if i get another bolt on hood. I do however have an extra hood hindge (believe pass side) if needed and a used but good pair of hood struts
