Third gen customs at it again

Alright guys so like the dummy I can be sometimes, I didn't do research before buying from this guy and I'm kicking myself in the a** now. A month and a half ago I purchased all the interior plastics for my 92 RS from him. Thought everything was cool since he didn't give me any problems... Until 2 weeks after I sent him money. Kept getting the BS excuses of why the shipping number was never sent or why it wasn't boxed up and on it's way. He said he lost his yard and people broke in and stole things from him. Also said that he was over loaded with other customers. Low and behold, after almost two months, $170 and enormous amounts of frustration.. I got my parts .. Half of them at least. I not received half of the rear cargo plastics and the piece for the rear passenger arm rests. I've tried calling him, texting him, even emailing him and no response. I'm missing about 2/3 or what I need for my car. I work hard for my money and I am extremely aggravated. I sent him money via Google Wallet. Anyone that had dealt with this guy before can help me out ?

Yes I know, I have joined the club

He got banned here if I am not mistaken. Given the fact that there is countless negative feedback on him, you really should have thought twice about doing business with him.

Re: Third gen customs at it again

IMO; $170 shipped for a FULL set of GOOD black plastic panels would have been the first "red flag". Even after seeing pics of the parts I would still be a bit suspitious.

Your only option is to dispute the payment any way that you can. Waiting over a month before attempting to dispute the purchase might mean that your S-O-O-L, but I'd try anyway.

You could also file a incident report with the Police; I think you'd need to file it in your town,... not his )

Good luck.

Re: Third gen customs at it again

Jason pulled the run around on me for a month then sent me an aftermarket rusted hood that he claimed was like new OEM. The time frame is crucial and I filed a dispute before 30 days were up knowing this. I got the refund, but got a negative Itrader review from him to add insult to injury. There wasn't much info on his antics when I dealt with him. If he could sell excuses, he would have a very lucrative business.

Maybe a couple members on here that live close to the guy can pay him a visit representing the op... gotta look out for each other on here. I find people tend to be dismissive when they are far away, but face to face are oh sooo different people.

Re: Third gen customs at it again

Lol, hardly. Just someone who believes in being honest and decent. If I have given someone money, I would like that product or my money back. And I would want the same for friends. If your someone who doesn't want to be honest with the buyer, that makes you kind of a thief. So it's about being stand up. Simple. Help people out. So try not to be so stupid with your comments anymore. "Ethug..." truly from a spineless nothing.

Re: Third gen customs at it again

I was buying things on the internet, Ebay and here when it was just cashiers check and money orders/grams-- Talk about a scam artists wet dream! I was burned enough to know that the ONLY way to pay for things online to a person or "small business" is through Pay-Pal. If you don't receive everything in exactly the stated or shown condition Pay-Pal will refund you the money. The just reach into his bank account/charge card and yank it out. Chalk this up as a learning experience and move on.

I bought a set of tires on here that were said to be barely used. Found out this guy was scamming people left and right, yada, yada, yada I finally got the tires after he had taken a knife and gouged out chunks of the sidewall. I had paid with a money order but had I been using Pay-Pal I would have had the money refunded.

The "nice" low mile black Trans Am that he is parting, had a tree fall on the roof. I'm not taking up for the guy, but when a tree falls on a car, it's probably better to part it. I visited his old yard a few times, nothing he was parting was worth saving.

He used to be up by BWI, but he's not there anymore. I'm not sure where his yard is now.

LOL including quite a bit of the parts from what I've seen. Look at some of the former threads, some sketchy stuff he sent out.
