I AM SELLING MY CAMARO...ANY INTERESTS???
'91 Camaro RS. The body is in good condition. The driver's side rear fender well has a bondo chip where some bondo chipped off, but other than that, it is the origional factory blue paint job, in good shape. It has a Harwood 3" Cowl Hood. Now for what all the car has...the wheels are Boyd Coddington 17x9 fronts and 17x11 rears. The tires are Pirelli P7000 275/40/ZR17's in front and 315/35/ZR17's in rear. It has an adjustable Global West rear suspension , panhard bar and torque arm. It has Hotchkis springs, Koni red shocks, and 1LE sway bars. It also has subframe connectors. The car handles as well as a new Z06 Vette. The interior in very good condition. It has Cerillo gray front seats to match the factory interior, with harnesses. It has a BRAND NEW pilar mounted autometer silver-faced 15psi electric fuel pressure guage. The car was origionally a 5-speed car, but it has been converted to a 6-speed, and comes with a T-56 tranny, centerforce clutch and pressure plate. It has a Hurst competetion plus shifter. Everything is already hooked up and in perfect working order. The rear end is richmond 4.10 gears with Z28 axles, an Auburn Posi, and a rear end girdle. It has working a/c, power everything, a Kenwood CD player with detachable face and an amp. THe car also comes with a NOS Cheater (150-250hp) nitrous system. It is already wired up and has a button in the shifter. I have a BRAND NEW motor for the car. It is a 355 with 11 to 1 compression with TRW lightweight free floating pistons, Eagle H-Beam rods, steel crank, Dart Iron Eagle heads that have been fully ported and polished. I even have flow bench numbers for them, and they outflow AFR's. It has a Comp Cams Hydraulic roller and the Comp pro magnum roller rockers. It also has a Edelbrock Victor Jr. with a Holley 750 carb. The motor is completely assembled and has never been fired. I would prefer to sell the car without the motor, but I would include it for the right price. I have about $4500 in the motor alone, but I am not willing to let that go cheap. I have about another $9500 in the car alone, with the tranny and everything. I don't exactly know how much I want for everything, but I am taking offers, and if someone offers me a decent price for the car, I will take it. I know that I will never get out of it anywhere near what I have in it, but I will accept that and deal with my loses. Here is what it looks like.

I am not sure how much I can get out of it, which is why I am taking offers. If you read up a few posts, someone offered me $10,000. I do not know if he is serious or not, but I will see. I know how much it costs to build one like this, so I am hoping to find someone who knows as well, and can appreciate what it is built to do.

I forgot to mention that the car also has an Edelbrock shock tower brace, a new Mallory fuel system, a new K&N Filter with Chrome Chevrolet Air cleaner, the tires are on new condition, the motor has a Fluid Dampener balancer, and makes in the neighborhood of 475-500hp. If I can think of anything else, I will let everyone know.

Stop tempting me!!!
The car is absolutely gorgeous but I am trying to reduce the number of cars I own not add to it. Seriously though if you settle on a price post it in the Classifieds - I might be interested, I'm just not sure I want to risk getting divorced...
Cheers

I know I'm breaking our own rules, but I had to reply:
I'll give you 3 grand cash in hand for the car, minus engine and transmission. And I live in Fort Worth for easy pick up.

Car: 91 Red Sled
Axle/Gears: 10bolt Richmond 3.73 Torsen
Now I remember, this is why I'm staying in school. To get a good paying job to afford building up my car for one lap. Thanks for the reminder.
Honestly, from what you've described I'd say the car is worth $10K because of the mods and condition. Whatever you do don't part her out, that would just be nuts and I'd have to go around buying up all the pieces and putting her back together just to run you over .
Why are you selling the car?

Hey, don't discourage him! I had that 3 grand for paint and body on my Iroc, but his car already looks like what I want mine to look like, so that'd save me a lot of trouble . I've got engine and transmission already in the works, so I don't need his... come on... take my money...take my money! hehe

Brad...I would consider your offer if it was minus engine, tranny, wheels and NOS system. I could probably get another $5000-6000 for all of that. The car has $3000 in suspension work alone, but I NEED MONEY!!! I am selling the car because I got myself into WAY too much debt recently and I NEED the money very badly. Unfortuantely, it is at the expense of losing the car without ever running it.

Why not put it on e-bay motors that will be where you get the most cash for it FOR SURE. Just checkout www.ebaymotors.com

Yes, I am very familiar with ebay. I use them all of the time for buying and selling. I was wanting to give everyone on here a shot at the car before I actually advertise it. I have gotten much positive feedback in the past about it on here, and thought that someone on here might be interested. People on here appreciate 3rd gen's more than other places. I need someone who is going to appreciate this car for what it is, and not someone who tries to low ball me on price because it is "just a 3rd gen camaro."

Something else that I forgot to mention. The car also has an MSD-6AL box with external rev limitor box and an adjustable timing control from the driver's seat. That's all for now.

CarNDrv... I love your ride man... but I can't afford to buy it. When my car rusts, I am going to build a 92 like yours... but I will use 85 GFX, and put the exhaust through the GFX. Maybe not the 4 post spoiler either....

Ravenous...why would it be killed??? People are interested in the car. Hell, even one of the founders of this board came over today and looked at the car for himself...and he REALLY wants it too. We'll see...

I know the purpose of this post is to sell your car, but I HAVE to ask you about your exhaust. How did you do that? Got any pics of it? If I had the money that car would be mine.

The exhaust was hand built using mandrel bent 3" pieces of tubing. It was all pieced together one section at a time and run out the side. It is true duals.
