IIRC, up22.com or something has them.

No fiberglass fender I have found says that they are ok for street use.

Re: fiberglass fenders

Stock fenders aren't exactly heavy. Your weight savings will be minimal, and the fiberglass fenders won't fit as well and certainly won't look as good due to the unavoidable ripple with lightweight fiberglass.

Re: fiberglass fenders

glasstek and VFN fiberglass make them as well, more pricey than steel and I doubt there is a weight savings at all once bondo is applied to make the fiberglass straight.

Re: fiberglass fenders

Yeah, Ive looked into the glass fenders too. Decided to stick with the steel ones.

The glass ones are like 4 times the price...

I know I'm off topic, but your spelling is absolutely horrible! Don't you have any pride or self respect?

My condolences about your "Dyslexia", but your spelling is fine, it's just that you're spelling everything in 13 year old girl text message IM slang.

So if it makes you feel any better, I dont think your problem is spelling, you're doing that fine, I think your problem is choosing to spell words the "Abbreviated" way, which just generally makes things harder to understand and read and on the internet where interpretation is everything, it makes it needlessly difficult to see what you're trying to say.

Re: fiberglass fenders

Sorry man, I don't usually go off like that. I didn't know you had dyslexia. Knowing that now, I have no issue with you at all. Sadly, alot of people that are very capable of writing well choose not to. Those are the people that frustrate me.

Re: fiberglass fenders

Ted? Is that you ol buddy?

What does dyslexia have to do with just blatantly not spelling words right in an ignorant fashion? InfernalVortex might have it too then if that's a result since he thinks your spelling is ok.

Re: fiberglass fenders

if you already had f/g fenders, why not fix them if they just got cracked?

I'd like to have a set of rubbermaid fenders But I dont know if that would work well since the headerpanel bolts to them.

Re: fiberglass fenders

i only got 1 new 1 .i could fix the old 1 that was cracked but u can never make it look 100% like new . my car is black so u have to have 100% to make it look right. in my years of being a body man if u are panting black or wight. u have the have to body with as little body filler as u can. if u have alot of filler or fixed cracked. u might not want to use black if u want a show pant job. i spent alot of time and i no if i fixed the crack it would stick out bad. so i just got a new fender. AND !!!! it is ok i dont mind any 1 saying my wright i no it is and i can no help it but that is ok jeremyNYR just want u to no i was not just being a @ss and typeing wrong and no carrying

----------
