I just bougt a set of louvers for 100 dollars I hot the clips on the sides but cannot figure out were the other ones go hopefully some one has a copy of install directions aswell as were I can buy the hardware for it becuase I am missing a clip for the side thanks all
ok im going to take and post a pic of my clips because i really dont understand what u are saying u said you do have the side
clips the you didnt or im just blind idk lol anyways this first pic is the top hinge that you should have on the louvers.
In this pic its wrapping around the sides of the windows the # 2 should be the first thing u put on when getting to the side of rear glass. the #3 go down the glass from #2
finally the #4 should get glued to the rear class center accordingly to the louvers.
if my memory is correct this is how it goes but this is for the stock oem louvers I have. I dont know about the all plastic ones ect.
hope this helped sorry about pics camara phone.

i could make a few for sure. need something to go off of though. could just use small pieces of stainless/aluminum. or just some metal and powdercoat it. or metal with some bedliner stuff would hold up great.
Would have to be correct thickness so it would fit. (think it slides between the glass and rear hatch on bottom). The holes for the twist clips would have to be the correct size also, to keep the louver attached to the car!
Someone has to have a complete set that could be used to copy!
dimensions would be the same. maybe have to just paint them. if somebody wants to send me some extras ill certainly give it a shot. im 100* positive i can do it. PLENTY of metal experience.
price would go up for powder coated but it can be done i dont see why people wouldnt just make their own? looks pretty simple.. nothing a plasma, vice, and drill press and a couple hours couldnt handle! i have 4X4 sheet of stailess thats been sittin the garage for 6 years
thanks that helps alot I didnt know how the ones on the bottom attatch
yea no problem man i was hopeing it would.
and camaro88 i think there are a full set in the junkyard by me there for the ones with the 3rd brake light if i pull them and send them to u will u send me a free prototype for sending you the originals?

i can make a free prototype, but they wont be powdercoated. id have to charge toget the powdercoated and i cant be spending money where its not needed to be spent (no current job ) but yes i can make a prototype. pm me woth details if you would like
now remember i cant GUARENTEEEEE that i can remake them, but i can certainly try. the pictures look pretty easy, but when i get them they may completely different. if i cant remake them then ill send them back to you and ill pay shipping obviously.
I could also probably have some made. I have no idea why you would want to powdercoat stainless though, that defeats the purpose of spending the extra $$$ on stainless versus mild steel. best thing in my opinion is having the stainless sheet polished before having the brackets made.

Wanted them black, also less chance of rusting over time.
I just sold my louvers, so I don't need them anymore.
I might still try and get some made anyway I have seen alot of louvers for sale but no clips (jy take offs). I have a convertible so I won't ever need them but it would be nice to get them made to help out someone else that got a good deal on a set of hood louvers but can't find clips for them.
