Help me identify this "paint job"

1992 Camaro White.

It looks like it was sprayed over by a single stage pain perhaps? anyway you can see that the old paint was not even scuffed up. They new paint already chipped and has no shine to it...maybe it's actually primer?

I want to go with a white for the paint again and still have some minor body to finish up...

sorry for the dark pics.

Still not a very good photo, but looks like your typical "single stage sprayed over original paint with zero prep work" job.

Yep. Typical Maaco or similar job.

Re: Help me identify this "paint job"

it's just bodywork and weather stripping now.

Thanks for the input.

Maybe a rattle can job? Looks like my car when I bought it.

Either way, what's it matter? Strip it off and do it right.

Re: Help me identify this "paint job"

That was sprayed on, it's a very thin coat and flat.
I'm wondering if I should pull dents, scruff it up, and spray primer for the time being, it's not getting any fancy paint job any time soon.

Or, just leave it as is.

I'll have to figure it out.
