Ok guys, need some extra cash so I'm selling my race car. Here is the info on the car.
Basics:
1990 IROC-Z Camaro (Last year of the IROC certification).
Body (perfect condition) and interior (cloth and suede) are both original with no damage.
Red in color (new paint).
350 crate motor bored 30 over.
700R4 Tranny w/shift kit and B&M shifter.
18" Edielbrock Chrome Wheels w/ brand new Kumo low profile tires.
Power everything.
T-Tops.
Problems:
2nd gear is stripped in the tranny.
B&M Shifter isn't mounted corectly. It works, just not pretty.
It develpoed a knocking rod in the #6 cyclinder.
The steering knuckle is cracked allowing play in the wheel.
Windsheild washer motor is burnt out.
Extras coming with the car:
Rebuilt 700R4 tranny (ready to be mounted). Comes with a new drive shaft and torque converter.
Extra set of T-Tops. (these things are damn hard to come across)
Salvaged replacment steering knuckle.
Salvaged replacment windsheild wiper motor.
Asking $2500 OBO.
I no longer have the time or desire to work on my race cars so I'm letting this one go. As you can see I have gotten almost everything this car needs to be put back on the street or the track. Even with the car in it's current condition it'll smoke the tires off it. I pulled the engine apart all the way down to the block and checked the #6 cyclinder. No grooves in the side walls (because it had been bored) and I pulled the cam to check for metal shavings in the cam. None were found. The engine is back together up to the heads. They will need to be put back on. The car does not currently run. My suggestion is to just replace the basic internals and put all the new stuff in and you've got a sweet running ride. Clear title in hand!!
Wish you were closer, i would finish that project up in a jiffy. hope someone takes it soon or I might have to think about that drive from south georgia.

Hi duron . I got the car. Dont know if it is quite the deal yet. No bolts for the TPI.Driver side runner bent and not useable. Had to take the carpet out. was musty inside from sitting. No oil in the engine. Maybe that was the problem with the knocking.Dash cracked in two places. Still trying to figure out the wiring cut in all over the place. Well theres no rust anywhere. So thats a good point.
