(6) Speakers (4) connections!
I put in (2) front 4X6's, (2) rear seat 6X9's, and (2) 12' subs. I have an amp that has the connections for (2) front and (2) subs, where do I connect either the front or rear seat speakers? Do I connect all (4) to the front terminals?...Denny

What I would do is hook up the 4x6's and the 6x9's to the amp, and they go out and buy your self a 2 channel amp and power the subs off that.

Well if you picked up a passive crossover for the subs and ran the subs & the 6x9's on the rear.. and the front's on the front.. it might work.. as long as the amp is 2 ohm stable.. and will allow you to run 4 ohms to the front and 2 ohms to the back.. and wire one sub and one 6x9 in parallel for the left and the right side..

6 CHANNEL
Try running your 4x6s off front channel off radio, since they r right in front of you, youll still be able to have front image.Run 6x9s off 2 channels and your subs off the other 2 channels that way you dont have to buy another amp.If you dont like it then you could buy a seperate amp for your subs.

forgot about that idea.. running the 4x6's off the head unit.. But if you can't do that.. here is the passive crossover I would probably use.. Number: 266-100 (100 Hz LOW PASS 4 OHM CROSSOVER ). from the first link you posted

Thats a great idea too
You can do it either way but if you run 4x6s off radio youll still be able to have front to rear fading, just depends what you r trying to do.Try it both ways and see what you like better. Just remember its what you like.

Ok' I hooked the front and rear speakers to the radio and the subs to the amp. The radio only has 2 channel, where the amp has 4 so I was limited. At this moment the subs are open-air (ok you can laugh), but they sound GREAT! I will be closing them in but I just want to start driving so I will do that later...Denny

Well I got her done, BUT I trashed the stock radio and put in a new one. It sounds great now but it took some tweaking...
I KNOW they are not boxed but it works great!
After:
Before:
The stero is 300W so I put the front and rear seat speakers on the radio and the subs on the amp. I'm afraid I am going to blow the rear window with the Baha Men!

Thanks! The car has only 24,000 miles on it. That is why I was so tossed about changing the interior so much, BUT it will never be a collectors item so now it sounds good too...Denny

I kept ALL the org parts and packed them up so if/when I need them I can just put them back in. The way it sounds now I'm pretty sure putting them back in will not happen with me...Denny
