Box Measurement help
Hey i need help making a box that sits in the well and slants towards the back seats. Can anyone please tell me the measurements to complete this and show me a picture of what they did to theirs. I have been trying to figure out the measurements for a while now and still can not figure them out. I would like for them to be covered up and have my amp behind some plexi glass.

depends on your subs, if you are going to the trouble to build a custom box find out how much space each needs, then work out the dimensions to provide appropriate space.

I have 2 10 inch mtx's with 4 tweeters in the box..would it be better to divide the subs or leave them?? Does the size of the box affect sound from different subs? The box i have now is ported and bought subs and box for cheap and i have to fold down the back seats and put them on top due to the box being so big. I want them to be hidden but still give me good sound seeing that my windows arent tinted. Any help would be appretiated.

Yes, size of box does matter, and those boxes with the tweets are usuall junk. At least you need to cut the wires to the tweeters. I would put a divider in more than likely, and depending on the subs a sealed box may sound better than ported. Usually you can find what kind of box/how many sq. ft. you need from the dealer that sold you the stuff, but in your case this might be difficult it seems.... If you get me the model number of the speakers I can try and dig somethin up for you. If you take the time to build yourself a box that fits the car right you will be happy you did, and if its your first one there might be some trial and error involved but really its not to bad and you can do it with basic handtools.

This could be a really big problem.....they do not say on the subs themselves what model they are. I bought them off of one of my friends that moved away. These are some old school MTX's with Blue writing on each of the subs that says MTX and there is also a blue MTX emblem between the two subs... here is a diagram of my box since i cant find my digi cam.
