need help befor i slap a 4bbl on it

ok no matter what i do i cant get my motor to run right here is teh list of mods i have done to it and i have cheacked to see if it was a machanical problem

i have a 5.7l sbc std, bore
trick flow g1 heads that are ported
comp cams retro fit roller 270-276 dureation cam
comp cams hrd. roller lifters
comp cams custom pushrods
stock tpi
24lbs/hrs accel injectors

but heres my problem
it runs and idles fine but even in park it wont let me rev past 3400 rpm
if i ease ever so slightly into it i can get it to 4300
but it i put the foot to the floor it just sounds like it bogs out and it will hold 3000 as long as i have it to the floor
my snap on scan tool says that it is ritch the whole time its at the floor i have tryed replacing my coil my puckup coil and modual in the distributor and still it gets no better i really think that i have something wacky in my prom or ecm so any insight on what i should do please let me know

get an ooscilliscope on the coil output and check the trigger in the Distributor. could be an erroneous msifire. also have you check the coil output itself. of all things ive been fighting with water condesation on my honda dizzy cap for weeks all winter runs like *** till its warm whenever its damp. so i feel your pain. however either one of 2 things is happening. you losing FP or the spark is cutting out. hard to say which but if its happening under a heavvier load then chances are its spark.

rulse of thumb. ingntion misfires become more problematic as load goes as and rpm goes up. however fuel problems tend to be pretty linear.

If that isn't a *smogger* cam, then there is no way a stock chip is going to properly manage your modifications.

Assuming your mechanical stuff is correct, then you need to read up on chip burning.

Start with your basic mechanical diagnostics. then once you know that the engine is right, work on the chip end of things.

Not sure what help you're asking for...have you burned a chip and it's not working right, or are you running a stock chip and need help diagnosing things?

You didn't say whether you're running MAF or Speed Density TPI so it's tough to say how to proceed, basically need to verify things are right and the ECM isn't setting any error codes as a first step.

After you've established that no error codes are present, you can either capture ALDL data and use it to burn a chip that suits your new engine...or get in touch w/ Ed Wright at fastchips.com or Bort62 here and have them burn you one.

ok im running a 87 tpi so its maf i havent converted it but have thought about it
im running the 6e arap bin and i have burned over 150 chips for my car but i cant seem to get it right i can get the lower blms about right then i work on the uper cells and get them close then the lowers go out of wack again but im really not sure if i am ajusting it right the 6e code dont have a fuel map so i think you have to ajust the maf tabels but like i said im not sure i am fairly new to all this i have cheacked all my ignition on an oselloscope the ecm gives me no coads on my snapon scanner and all the sensors apper to be working right i have done fp diagnostics and it was all ok i have plenty of volume and plenty of pressure im running 50 psi at the rail but it runs good at lower rpm and up to like 80% thorottle but it seems like when it goies to wot it just dies and the motor wont go above 3gs
