Re: Tunerpro?
assuming you downloaded V5, find the correct ADX for your application, download it, select it in tunerpro via the "acqusition" menu, connect to the ECM, record, drive, stop recording, save the file.
that's the logging portion explained.

Re: Tunerpro?
All the info. is on the website. You need to buy the hardware to connect the aldl socket to your computer. And you could shoot the guy some cash for the software too. he deserves it!

Re: Tunerpro?
What are you looking to do, just some dataloging? if so you will need hardware to hook up to the ALDL for that, If your looking to start tuning then you have options. Do some searching here and if you have questions just ask before you buy anything.

Re: Tunerpro?
I dont know about that cable but I'm sure someone will chime in on it, I was using the aup1 from Moates.net to do my datalogs and burn chips but since then I picked up aldu1, also from Moates, works great but more expensive then the one you posted.

Re: Tunerpro?
i had the aldlcable version for a while. worked, most of the time, for about 12 months of ~once a week usage, then it became flaky to the point of failure within about a week. i tore it apart and used the nice molded male connector to make my own cable. had that running for almost 2 1/2 years now with no issues.

I agree to support Moates as they support us with all the other cool stuff your going to need down the road. I have their AutoProm that is a cable, emulater and chip burner in one unit and has worked flawlessly for years!
Once you get to using TunerPro pay the $30 registration fee so he keeps making us cool stuff!
I did a tunerPro tutorial startup and have a TunerPro XDF and ADX lookup done in excel spreadsheet along with many writeups on how to use some of the features of TunerPro. The more you use it the more you find how wide open it is to customizing everything you want to do.
