still no turn signal.... help!!!

okay as iroc&roll told me and what he has said in his other post about turn signals not workin becuz of a buld out. i have another question could the relay for the turn signal be on its way out. becuz ive tryed cleanin the contacts on the bulbs and fiddling around with them but nothing, like when i have the key in and have the left turn signal on it just lights up and stays and ive changed the turn signal bulb in the back a million times with others and nothing and the right side blinkers work but not the left. my friend said that maybe it could be the relay for the blinkers. does the linkers have there own relay under the steering colume and where is it exzactlly becuz i need to get my z28 on the road. ive had it since last yr and the only miles it has on it is only 97.3 miles and well i need it to be inspected becuz im tired of reling on other people. so if any one can help please thank you.

There is no relay for the turnsignals, only the flasher & if the RH side works OK, then the flasher is OK. If the front LH bulb comes on & the rear LH bulb does not come on, it may be a bad ground connection to the rear socket. Use a test light to verify that there is power at the socket, & if there is, then the socket ground is open. If there is no power to the socket, then there is probably a break in the wire somewhere between the turn signal switch harness & the rear socket. Does the light work in 4 way flasher mode?

It really sounds like you have a bad bulb back there. I would try a different bulb. If you are site checking it sometimes they look fine and arent. THats the only thing i can think of. I know its a pain to get the taillights out but might be needed. I dont think its a bad ground because they share a common ground and no lights would work back their if thats the problem. The only way it can be the ground if it is lose going into the bulb socket, which is nice because that wire is so accessable
