yea that's it. I just ripped mine out yesterday and wired in a bypass module.

Do u have a guide for wiring jn the bypass I play on doing it as well

I'm unsure of which module you're using but assuming you're using the one I did (module) I can tell you how I wired it up but I don't remember off the top of my head and the car is at the shop I work at (getting ready to pull the knockin 3.1 and throw a LQ4 in it) so you'll have to wait till tomorrow.

Still haven't had a chance to look at the car but here's the way it should be wired up.
The red wire goes to a switched power source.
The white wire beside the red one goes to the Blue wire at pin A2 on the connector that connects to the original VATS module.
The other white wire is grounded depending on the car you have. Assuming your car is a 91 from your name then this wire will not need to be grounded to work with your car.
The black wire is just simply a ground.

Check that link out. There is a diagram that shows you how it should be wire up.
