Where does the high speed fan relay mount with a non-AC HVAC box?
Thinking of pulling my AC box and installing a non-AC box for more room to work on engine.
1. Where does the fan high-speed relay get mounted with non-AC boxes? I don't see a provision on the box.
2. I have two boxes and they have different fan speed resistors. One is from a '85 Camaro and has 3 pins with 2 resistors. The other is from a ??? and has 4 pins with 3 resistors. Why the difference? I am guessing I want the 4 pin model to work with my 4-position fan switch in the HVAC head unit in dash.

I've not seen a high fan relay in non-AC applications in this era. The non-AC fan is a lower amperage fan motor.

The 4 pin resistor allows the extra fan speed for the A/C equipped cars. If you want to retain all 4 speeds you will need to reuse it.

I swapped the shorter cage over to my AC motor and everything seems to fit right.
Where are you guys buying the blower motor hose? That's the one part I'm missing.

Funny Car Fun Fact:Funnys can twist the crank so far that sometimes cam lobes are ground offset from front to rear to re-phase the valve timing somewhere closer to synchronization with the pistons.
