straight plug

- long weekend coming up, might be worth a drive for ya!

Seriously though, you're looking at two 50# packages - it cost me $20 to send a set of rocker arms out - you'ld be looking at $100+ for shipping, and I don't think there is a way to keep the idiots at the post office from messing them up, short of building crates out of 1/4" steel plate and angle iron...
and electrifying them...

I normally ship USPS - I shipped an aluminum intake out a couple of weeks ago and it cost $35 - I shipped a set of crane roller rockers this morning with insurance and confirmation today, and it was $20. I think $100 might be *LOW* for shipping a pair of heads priority mail. Parcel post can take a month and they won't apologize if it does..., and I don't need the grief of someone yelling at me that they haven't got their parts even though they paid "XX" number of days ago. I ship fast - but I have no control over the post office, or any other carrier for that matter.

I don't have an actual UPS depot near me (it's an hour's drive away) - There is a HUGE difference in price between dropping something off at one of the office stores for UPS shipment versus dropping something off at the depot, and although some of you might have gotten some kind of a deal, the last thing I shipped UPS cost every bit as much as the post office, and took longer to arrive, looking like it had been dragged behind the truck instead of placed inside.

Besides - I don't have packaging for these - and they aren't the type of thing you can just stuff in a box and have them arrive safely. To ship them I'd have to spend most of a saturday building wooden crates for them, and the reason I'm selling my Iroc stuff is because I don't have the time to build the car the way I want to.

Sorry - not interested in shipping these - as nice as everyone seems to be, if you send me $800 + actual shipping for these parts, and they don't show up pronto, you'll be on me like white-on-rice. I don't react well to that.
Especially since this isn't a profit-making venture - I'm just trying to walk away from these parts...
