LS1 rear diff w/ brakes on it + LS1 front brake kit: $1000 for all of it.

Also willing to sell an LS1 swap kit, consists of:

Headers
ORY
CAI
Rad hoses
Plug/play thirdgen harness
Electronic pedal
LS1 Clamshell mounts
4L60e crossmember
Power steering lines

Thats all i can list off the top of my head. It will be everything you need to use your own LS1/4L60e (can be wired for a T56 for $50)

$2000obo for it all.

Complete LS1 swap now $6500

Also, for $2300 you get everything listed + LS1 intake, F-body oil pan, template for drilling hole on iron block. These are the extra parts you need to swap a truck engine into an f-body (Also need f-body acc)

Umm..LS1 packages go from anywhere between $5-8K. What he is asking for his is reasonable.

Do your research..

Re: FS: Complete LS1 Swap kit! (Plug&Play everything!)

If you dont want to waste the time and energy to piece together every single part to do the swap then this is a great deal. Now if you have the time and energy you can probally shave 2k off the price buy piecing it all together but man having everything handed to you on one crate is pretty sweet.
Bump for ya buddy.

1000 for the rear tho? Little high imho i know it comes with the brake upgrade but how much you want to let just the rear go for?

Look in auto trader. There are alot of LS1 cars going for 6K

Cheaper to buy another car...

Yes, your right. $6k for a LS1/4L60e car.....

Lets look at swap costs:
Headers or manifolds
ORY
Wiring modificationg
Custom CAI
Cooling parts
Mounts
Tuning for the computer
etc etc etc.

The list goes on. Literately, this is everything you need...

Yes userchemical, it does have 5.3 heads. What of it? They flow the same as LS1 241 heads, and have higher compression...do the math..
Not to mention, find me a fresh rebuilt LS1 w/ a cam, ported oil pump, LS6 intake, new valve springs etc etc for less then $4k....

Now, tell me this is such a bad deal.....

Ontop of that, you could entirely do this swap with the parts i provide in a weekend. Whats not worth it here?

Price is OBO

And if anyone wants to know the reason im selling, to be brutally honest, i want to get into drift racing, and was given a Nissan Silvia K's for the cost of importing it. Do the LS1 a favor and save it before it end up in a jap crap car

Oh, and no, im not selling my car, i will be keep ing the chassis. And to those who asked, $1000 is for the rear diff, rear brakes and front brake conversion setup.

Front brakes pending sale.

Thank you for better explaining why your asking price is reasonable. You had a bunch of people who didnt know what the hell they were talking about..

Those cars have the Auto 4L60e Tranny, and usually have 100k+ or so..

Re: FS: Complete LS1 Swap kit! (Plug&Play everything!)

This is exactly the direction I am gonna go with my 91 RS. I just dont have the cash right now, but its definitely not a waste of money if its what you want. I like the third gen cars better, being that I had an LS1 car (98 Z28), and I want to build another LS style motor for mine. This truly is a great deal, b/c you cant buy and piece together all that he is selling with this swap kit for any amount of money close to what he is asking!! Yeah, maybe you can buy and LS1 camaro cheaper, but you arent gonna get any of the performance parts or much better tranny with it. The guages will work if you have a good tuner/mechanic friend like I do who can rewire them to work!! Just takes a little time and effort!! He has done it several times around here!

Free BUMP SheldonZ28!!

Re: FS: Complete LS1 Swap kit! (Plug&Play everything!)

I went the aftermarket route for my gauges on my swap. All Autometer in a brushed aluminum panel. I thought I might have been asking too much for mine, being that I've had a lot of interest, but no one has purchased anything, but after seeing this and the posts on here, I'm well within what the market is right now.

Good luck on the sale, sounds like a very nice setup.

Re: FS: Complete LS1 Swap kit! (Plug&Play everything!)

Man I would kill to have an LS1 in my 91 RS, and yes the swap would be worth it, you would have a 3rd gen that can hang with the 4th gen! Besides, 4th gen camaro's are way over rated, yeah they are stylish, but I think that my 3rd gen is alot more smooth. I once had a 99 Trans Am, and didnt really like it. And did anyone see that LS1 based Small block that World products came up with? That is a Generation 1 block modified to take the LS style heads? It was featured in Camaro magazine, and if I get enough money back from taxes, this would be an awesome buy, good luck.

Re: FS: Complete LS1 Swap kit! (Plug&Play everything!)

Some people have a certain sentimental value to their 3rd gens and do not want to trade up for a 4th gen. But sometimes those people also want the added power and fuel economy, making LS1 swaps very desirable. Thats why they are so expensive. Sure you can buy an LS1 car for 6000 but it is going to be a hunk of crap with 100,000 miles +. This is a freshly rebuilt motor, and it is everything you need. I think the ease of not having to search around for months looking for all the parts needed for the swap is easily worth the money. Bump for a great deal, if I had $6000 I would be all over this.

And 3rd gens weigh less. Trust me, I own two '91 maros and a '99 TA. All I can say is I cannot wait until time and money allow me to do this swap. This really looks like a good deal, not killer but definetely not bad. Bump for ya

Just out of curiosity, how much would you want for the swap kit without the tranny and crossmember? (I'm planning on a T56)
