Axle/Gears: 3.27
Have you weighed your car?

State your model, options, amouint of gas and if you were in the car or not.


89 Formula 350
T-tops, a/c, all power accesories
-Aluminum heads
+SFC, STB, wonder bar

I weighed it at a self weigh truck scale today:

3410lbs with almost a full tank of gas!

(I expect this thread to be locked any second! Why is there no lounge??
but this sorta falls under history....)

I dont think this is "lounge" material. It can be very useful but not in the History section... there are better spots for this question and it has been covered before. There is a thread where people are getting below 3000 lbs on a street car. Goodluck

3600 pounds on a truck scale.

84 Berlinetta ---> 355ci V8
EVERY Option + MANY Extras
Fiberglass hood
T56 Tranny
T-Tops
AC ( no compressor at the time )
SFC's
Full Tank
I'm 140 pounds ( in car )
8 Speaker BOSE sysem ( + 8 AMPs ) and CD Changer
Hollow 34mm F/Sway; 24mm rear; Wonder Bar
Aluminum Pulleys
Headers with 3" pipe ( No Cat )




My 95 Z T-Top was 3700 pounds with the tank full me in it ( LT1/T56). The Only major changes were the 4 way LS1 brake upgrades, SFC, 24mm rear sway, and 4-point roll bar.

Ah heck, I'll throw mine it. It was weighed at a local highway inspection station. The details are below my avatar on the left.

Front - 2115 lbs
Rear - 1650 lbs
Total - 3858 lbs

Subtract Me - 200 lbs (I'm 6'2" so I'm not that fat )

Net - 3658 lbs

My fulley loaded 1989 GTA weighed 3510 with a 1/3 tank of gas and no driver. Has aluminum heads, headers, no spare tire otherwise fully loaded with t-tops as it came from the factory.

I have a 92 camaro. It has a sbc 9" rear end and a turbo 350. I have stripped every thing I could to loose weight. It weighs 3180 pounds.

3353 lbs for a stock 1990 1LE with full tank. GTA wheels with Hoosier R tires. This was at the Solo II nationals two weeks ago. No driver.

Hey Randy, Glenn here (28FS). That's 70lbs pounds lighter than my Z28. May just made it out there next year.

Hi Glenn, sure could have used a few more familiar faces there at HPT. It's not the same as Forbes that's for sure. First time I've been to Heartland Park. Smaller lots than we are used to. I'm not sure our 3rd Gen's are the car to have anymore if you checked the results. I was on 3 yr old Hoosiers (big mistake) but Paul and Lynn had all the right stuff and said it was hard work getting in the trophies. Hope to see you there next year.

When I first got "Blue" in '90, I figured 15-20 years before moving on to ESP. It's getting close and Mark showed a 3rd gen still can win ESP.

Weighed at work on truck scale 3500 lbs,with me in it-195 lbs
no spare or jack
power everything
full stock interior
half tank of gas,some tools,cooler full of ice and drinks.
alluminum heads
a/c and emmissions delete
Somewhere around 3250 lbs I guess

91 RS hardtop-L03/T5, A/C, custom cloth interior, 16" wheels, and nothing else(no power options). Bone stock right down to the muffler. With jack,spare,full tank of gas, no driver- 3320 on the truck scale.
