Need some help on factory appearance of Suspension/drivetrain from Factory

I am restoring my '85 Firebird mechanically to factory specifications, my question is since there are a lack of pictures or information regarding if certain parts were either cast aluminum, black, etc... Does anyone have any information on if the front suspension was black, cast, ???? Also the same on the rear suspension. I am looking to take my car back to the condition it was when it came off the factory floor. Thank you for any information you can give me.

Was your car a NOR or a LOS build?

Mine was sprayed with what looks like black undercoating. I don't know if this was factory or dealer installed as it was common for dealers to that in the North West.

Do you have any pictures of it? As far as how far they sprayed the undercoating, what areas got overspray? Mine was ziebarted at some point in its life. Most of that now is flaking off so I am going to have the car media blasted and start over.

Even though I am sure the markings are different from Norwood to VanNuys I wouldn't mind looking at them for reference points. I appreciate it.

The best photos are already in the book. In the near future will be developing a section dedicated to the remaining 1982-1987 production photos that I did not use.

This may/may not help ya, its of 2 or 3 cars one is a bit older than the 89 formula. I think it was a 87ish T/A? Look at the lower A Arm in in the pic below. see the black paint and bare steel? they use to hang the A arm and dunk it in paint b4 the bushings and ball joints were put it.
