When the Pontiac parts bin overflows
I suppose this car never took off from this Pontiac built concept, as the Firebird line already filled this market. But look at the seats, and surely there are other parts Which were raided from the F Body bins

Several cool prototype fieros, even the next gen prototypes were awesome. GM really screwed up dropping pontiac.

Re: When the Pontiac parts bin overflows
Correct me if I’m wrong but is that fourth picture of this thing sitting in the Pontiac museum in Pontiac, IL? Feel like I remember a little room that looked just like this last time we went

Are the back seat, bottom cushions the same as what's in a TTA?
Those rear seat backs are cool with the headrests similar to the fronts

Looks like they might be the same seat as the fronts minus the cladding. And judging by that last picture it appears there might be enough room for an infant car seat. Hell maybe even twins 😂

Just found this article about the car. And yes it was at the Pontiac museum, I can see the awesome Judge and 70’s mannequin model in the background lol

Re: When the Pontiac parts bin overflows
This is from my '88 GTA Notchback and is also what the '89 TTA used:
Parts being reused is known. The Bonneville also shared the same steering wheel that was standard on the 1988-1989 GTA with the steering wheel controls. They also had the same Trans Am steering wheel found in the 1988 and 1989 Trans Am. Those seats in the back on that prototype car really remind me of seeing them once before. So either this was posted once before or there's another (production) car that used them same? First thought was Bonneville but didn't see any matches.

Re: When the Pontiac parts bin overflows
The bottom cushions are all the same TTA or not. It's the top seat backs that are different in the TTA. Actually, the 1988 GTA Notchback had the top seat backs before the TTA used them in 1989. Not sure if they existed prior to the Notchback since GM did reuse parts.

The GTA Seats were new to Pontiac, but I once saw something similar...
