Anybody with Autometer in stock IROC dash?

I've been trying to see a stock IROC dash with Autometer gauges. Everytime I see autometer in an IROC, it has the Covan's Classic dash. I would rather keep the stock 5" dia. speedo and tach, but change the gauges to autometer to get rid of the crappy, faulty stock gauges.

If you've got this setup, if you don't mind, please post pictures.

Thank you,

That's cool. Unique, but I was looking more towards the gauges being in their stock locations with new autometer gauges. I wanted to see what it would look like.

You race? Thinking this because of no speedo, unless not pictured.

i didnt need a speedo at the time. ive got a 4th gen dash now, so ive got all the speedo i need.

that is the stock trim piece backed up with a piece of plastic to house the gauges.
tach is in the stock location. you could very well put a speedo on the left, and the rest of the gauges in the center like factory.
pretty simple stuff if you have hand tools and a dremel.

I like the covans piece, xcept i has no ses or brake lights. The problem with the stock piece is the gauges in the middle are too close together for aftermarket gauges to fit in there and look right. It's not impossible, just not easy.

you can do a simple orange and red led for the brake and engine lights...

the way i did mine, you could actually keep the factory face. put an led behind it, and it would still be a brake and check engine light.
all depends on what ya want.
